Very nice Range

This range is perfect. Almost exactly like our old range, which we enjoyed for years. This is just what we needed for our family of six.

Not as Good as it Used to be

I bought the same stove 7 yrs ago, but this model is a downgrade. Worst of all is the racks do not take advantage of the oven space. The racks do not go to the back of the oven. I used to be able to put a 10 x 13 pan lengthwise in oven and now it has to take up the whole rack by going across.
The racks used to be self clean. Now they are chrome.
The burner bowls used to be self clean- now chrome.
The plastic is cheaper on the knobs.
But it does seem to bake and cook just fine.
I hope I can order racks that are self clean- just haven't tried yet.
GE please take note and upgrade this model so that the net time I need to replace it, I am proud to be owning your range!

I needed a stove that would stand upto the canning we do for the summer. So far it has done very well. Checked out stoves and this was what I was looking for.

Just purchased this stove, and I am very pleased with it's performance. I noticed how quicker the oven preheated than my old one, and love the way the burner placement & strength. I have family members who have owned a GE for years and I have been envious of the way it out performed my stove! I am always cooking and bake a great deal, as well as canning our own produce etc. and this stove fits the bill for those of us who enjoy being in the kitchen. Love my new stove!
