It gets the water to a boiling point fast. When I bake everything comes out evenly baked. It's very efficient.

Not as well made as older stoves

The stove top works well as does the oven. However when letting the oven heat up on the "Broil" setting the stove smells like burning plastic.
The bottom drawer is hard to open. There is nothing to get a grip on the drawer.

My last oven was also a GE and I only replaced it after 33 years because "it was time". It had no real problems but I was thinking a new one might be more efficient.
I am very happy with the new one also. My only issue is there is no handle to open the bottom drawer - it could be easier to use.
