Just got my GE range today, and I just love it. My last range was also a GE, and it was great for 15 years. I loved how reliable it was for so many years.

This stove replaced my 12 year old Hotpoint. I am amazed how fast the oven preheats! I could not be happier.

Not stainless on control panel

I moved a few months ago and wanted the same exact range model I left behind. I was so disappointed to see that the control panel of the new range was some sort of silver paint with an "orange peel" finish, not stainless steel like the one I had to leave behind. It's been only 3 months and the oven light is malfunctioning. I had my last one 3 years with no major problems (the oven insulation strips did come loose) but I wonder if some corners were cut with the updated model. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this a week ago and I must've say it is beautiful not only that it works wonderfully I am used to gas butvtgis range perfumes just as good if not better
