My second GE Advantium/Convection Oven

Ease of use, so many speed cook options, great looking exterior, I am pleased with my new Cafe' series oven! The advancements that have been made since my first GE Monogram microwave/advantium/oven are wonderful. The first oven was replaced after 15 years of constant use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cumbersome Features

Having a dial/pushbutton is antiquated.
Cook time adjustable in only 15 second increments is limiting.
Having to step through the power level for each use is inconvenient and annoying.
Many many setting adjustments and pushbutton operations to do a simple microwave warm-up.
BEEP volume not adjustable. Very low, and can not be heard away from kitchen.

Amazing Oven

Very stylish, easy to use once you get the hang of it. Speedcook/microwave is fabulous and warming option is fantastic. Very Well built. I am very happy with my purchase. The oven gets loads of compliments.

Great oven

The microwave is super easy to use and is biased towards gentle heating and doesn't seem to overheat anything (no burning !). The convection/conventional oven is very accurate and bakes evenly every time. The only downside is the preheat is loud but other than that, it's a great performer and good looking too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some design flaws

Overall, we are very happy with this unit so far - about two months. We think the misrowave could have been designed better. The pull down door makes it hard to reach heavy items in and out. Also, you must push controls at least 4 times just to start it up.
Oven cooks nicely, but I like the new blue walls on some other brands better. All in all, we are happy with unit thus far.
