This new fan was fairly priced, reasonably easy to install in my cabinet matching wooden hood (make sure you purchase the mating piece for installation), updated and clean styling, preforms flawlessly. Would highly recommend. The old exhaust fan that was removed and replaced was over 30 years old. By the way it was also a Broan.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Appreciate the improvements in this model compared to the older version I had for more than 10 years. Fan is quieter, more powerful and better able to adjust airflow. Lighting is also improved as well as the mechanism to release the filter.

This is a great fan for everyday use - it is compact and does not overpower your kitchen. It is perfect if you don't want your fan to be the focal point of your kitchen!! Nice lights and good fan speeds.

Cheap latches

I have had this range for 6 years. While I like the fan, the latches that hold the filter and light cover are of poor quality. The latches are two small pieces of plastic held together by a small screw. They have stripped. Unsuspecting guests who accidently touch the latches cause the cover to crash down on the stove. As a result the two light covers are broken. I like the range but I am surprised they did not put the same quality into the latches.

Seems to work just fine. A little loud on the highest setting, but works effectively. Unlike our other kitchen appliances, this one did not come with lightbulbs. We had to buy separately.
