I love my new microwave and the black ice is stunning!!

I love everything about our new microwave. It works so easily, it is very quiet, the light is very handy. I was also so pleased with the black ice color. It is a very classy addition to our new kitchen! It looks very rich and much warmer than the usual stainless steel and a little nicer looking than plain black. It also cleans very easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Microwave is more watts than my last one but took little adjustment. Different brand than the last and i didn't need to take a class to figure out how to enter cook time or power. I have found so many models (at work or visiting friends or family) and have found so many keypads over complicated. Thanks Whirlpool!

hi,bought our new microwave @hhgregg, they took out the old whirlpool and installed the new in 25 minutes. it took me 3 hours to install the old, new design makes it a lot easier.we like the new one with the sensing buttons a lot. nothing bad, all good things to say about the microwave.

Nice looking, however not enough power

Bought this along with the black ice stove and refrigerator. It is a nice looking microwave, however it is too loud when running and the "end/finish" signal is too quiet. Would be nice to have a higher wattage if at all possible. The microwave is very roomy, and the additional shelf is a nice feature, but have never used it. The controls are easy to use, and the user is prompted on the LED readout with continued instructions, which make using it foolproof.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great features but one issue from being awesome

ok, I will say this works great overall, but here are some issues: it's loudwhen in, the door click is the worst part, you can never close the door without that click even when you try to hold the door as you push it in slow.... it's 2013 it should close without a loud click... my 10yr old Maytag closed a lot smoother. and there should be an off button for thelights and the fan- why do I have to click thru hi me lo then offf, that's silly. I know that sounds like a negative review but I figured I'd focus on what people that read these care about, which in my view are the nuances. the feature are plenty and I've had 0 reliability issues

I love the inside capacity in this microwave. It makes food preparation easy because I can actually put two things in at once because of the shelf. All of the different settings make cooking a breeze.

I like the unit overall, but I was somewhat surprised it had a metal interior. My only complaint is that the tone that sounds when cooking is complete is not loud enough.
