I am so pleased with my Microwave and how easy it makes my time in the kitchen. I use it at least 75% of my cooking time.I appreciate the quietness of the product, because while warming something up, I can also carry a conversation with my husband and hear what he is saying to me. It helps since I can't hear very well.Thank you Whirlpool for a wonderful product.

The first undercabinet microwave and I like it!

I am very satisfied with the microwave, since this is my first under cabinet and now have so much counter room since I made the change. I have always had a counter top model and never thought of changing, but I wanted to increase the room in my kitchen and this did just that and more. The micro wave I replaced was made by Sharp and do not miss it at all.Thank youPerfect!

Yery quiet. Cooks extremely ever. Ease of clean up is fantastic. I installed myself with directions provided with my wife's help without problems. Love the multiple cooking options. Love the size of the cooking space. The three fan speeds and multiple light levels are a real plus. I am extremely satisfied with the whirlpool 2.0 cut ft microwave hood combination with auto adapt fan.

Old Technology Repackaged?

First I would like to say that I've been cooking since I was 6. I'm 62 now. I have had several microwaves over the years. I'm not a stranger to microwaves and have been using them for over 30 years. I have to admit, I did not do my homework before buying this microwave and needed one quickly. So it is my fault that I'm not 100% happy with this oven. This oven replaced an OTR LG that is far superior to this in my opinion. I purchased this because of style, new cavity cleaning. I thought it had all the features of a 7 year old LG but it falls far short. 1)Soften/Melt, you MUST scroll through a list of 8 selections to make a choice, then, instead of adjusting the power, it zaps at full power on for so many seconds then off, repeat. This technology is 20 years old. The LG adjusted the power and if you softened one stick of butter, it softened it, not melted the center! 2) It does not have a + or - key allowing you to add time or delete time if needed. My $39 Magic chef in my den has that! Just too much fiddling with buttons...It is not straight forward as the LG was. Once you learned the menu's on the LG it was easy. This one I have to get the cheat sheet out to figure out what I want to do. 3) The soft sounding chime at the end of cooking should be adjustable, it is so faint that if there is a conversation going on while using this, you won't hear it. 4) Because this has a state of the art cleaning surface, which does NOT reflect light well, Whirlpool engineers should have used a bigger wattage bulb to light the interior. It is DARK, almost like having no light at all.The ONE thing that I do like that many reviewers have complained about is the fan/cool air circulation around the magnetron. It keeps it cool unlike the LG which failed prematurely because the magnetron overheated. I can live with the noise as long as I don't have to replace this puppy before an expected 10 years. The turntable shut off is nice. In time I will get used to this oven and it will do it's job. One thing for sure, this oven is 1000 watts and it replaced a 1100 watt oven. This one heats much faster and I have had to adjust my cooking times to compensate for it's speed, nice that it cooks quickly. The quality and workmanship are very, very good. I would not recommend this because of it's shortfalls. If I knew of all it was lacking I would have purchased another LG for sure.

I like this microwave, however I would have liked more features like automatic cooking times for ground beef, chicken & fish. It is easy to clean & cooks well when you have worked out times & power level yourself.

This under cabinet replaced a previous Whirlpool product. This unit performs much better and has better features than the previous model. I am impressed by the innovations of this product compare to the previous Whirlpool product I owned.This product has a coating that makes cleanup a breeze. I also like the light that projects. It is bright and makes the below work surface very visible.

Nice features (just a little dim and noisy)

We installed this model above our gas stove. Aesthetically, it's lovely. We love the stainless finish and it's pretty easy to keep clean. Performance-wise, we're very happy with the microwave. It reheats and defrosts very well. And we like many of the other features - the Auto Adapt fan, Sensor Cooking, and the recessed turntable is nice, too.There are only two drawbacks for us: 1) the exhaust fan is a bit loud (although the Low setting isn't bad), and 2) the stove top light is a little dim and positioned toward the back of the microwave hood so there are some shadows being cast while you cook.All in all, we're very happy with the microwave!
