Great defrost and soften feature

This microwave has an excellent defrost feature. Meat thaws without getting partially cooked. The soften feature works great for softening butter for baking....it does not melt into a puddle.

Wonderful Microwave

My very badly constructed Sharp finally died and I replaced it with a Whirlpool - Excellent Choice! It works fine and is well designed.

Fits my style

This microwave has taken all the hassle out of cooking and baking. I no longer begin cooking meat I am just trying to defrost! Baking is a breeze when I can soften, melt or boil items like butter with a soft touch on the screen! I have cooked and warmed up to 3 vegetable side dishes while leaving my big oven free for meats. The add 30 sec. Button gets used numerous times daily by this tea fanatic.

I love this Microwave!

For an inexpensive Microwave this one has more features and works just as well as the more expensive one I replaced. I have had it for about 8 months and have not found a setting that I use that this one does not have. The soften/melt setting works great for butter and ice cream and I love the auto sensing for reheating a dinner plate. All in all I couldn`t be happier with my purchase.

Excellent Microwave

This replaced another microwave that vented to the front and I prefer the upward vent so that it does not blow in your face. Installation was easy but took some time to drill through the tile backsplash. The auto sensor works very well and the oven heats evenly. We don't use a lot of the advanced features but are very happy with the unit so far. I would definitely recommend this microwave based on the features and price.

Replacement after our 12 yr old microwave died

We are loving this new microwave. It heats quickly and has many new features that make cooking and heating much easier. Was pretty easy to install. It is a little loud compared to our old one but that is because the fan is more powerful. Does bother or effect the microwave. Would recommend to family and friends that are looking for a new over the range microwave.

Was dissappointed that the first time I used the fan it sounded like the microwave was falling apart. A new fan unit had to be ordered and installed, it works fine now. Also was dissappointed that the unit could not be mounted in the same way the unit it was replacing was. My cabinet is a mess from the holes drilled into it and if this unit breaks down i will need a major cabinet fix. However I am happy with the units performace as far as defrosting, reheating and cooking.
