This gorgeous unit was installed in a new home we purchased. I was sceptical at first because it seemed too complex, but once I saw what it could do I won't go back to any of those older "easier" models. What else can I say but thank you Whirlpool.

This Product Meets My Needs

This product has worked fine for our family. Has some nice features like the turntable and the popcorn and defrost buttons which have come in handy. My only concern has been with the sound level when the cooking is complete. It is quite faint and oftentimes goes unheard.

I bought this unit as a replacement for a 17 year old Whirlpool microwave. The size had changed a bit, being deeper and taller but with the templates supplied it was a breeze to install. I thought it might look too big in the space, but after installation it looks fine. Very large interior, automatic thaw and reheat cycles are right on! Rated design a 4 out of 5 as exhaust fan now blows up, instead of out. Anticipate heavy use could result in damaged finish on cupboard above microwave. Overall,a great product.

Disappointed that the fan doesn't do anything when I have pots on the stove. The front of the microwave gets covered with condensation, steam from front burners don't go anywhere near the fan. I had to replace the light twice in two months and it is not easy to get to, and it's not very bright.
