Ideal when you're too busy to cook

My purchase of this item replaced a previous Whirlpool microwave hood that served me for over 16 years. With the new one, I find that my foods cook and heat more evenly, the cooking area is very spacious and the controls are easy to read and easy to program.The way it alerts me to when my food is done is also a plus - a little whistling tune that's both easy to the ears and a delight to listen to. The revolving turntable is removable, making spills very easy to clean. The removable rack also provides additional space for extras that need to be heated or cooked. Love it!

Gorgeous and great performing microwave

My previous over the range microwave was also a whirlpool, which was included with the house I had built in 1993. That microwave worked flawlessly, but after about 18 years the handle broke off. I still used it like that for over a year, but since the Family was coming over for Thanksgiving 2013, I decided I would upgrade. Being very happy with my previous Whirlpool, I didn't even consider any other brand (except to include in my comparison research). After careful research, I decided on the "1.7 cu. ft. Over the Range Microwave in Stainless Steel with Sensor Cooking". I was not disappointed. This was my first stainless steel microwave, or any other appliance for that matter. The price was right, and the product was delivered on time, and as promised. Me and my neighbor removed my old one, and installed the new one. All of the parts were there, and the instructions were easily followed. It is the best looking appliance in my kitchen. After about 6 months now, I am still totally pleased with this purchase, and very thrilled with the sensor feature. I highly recommend this microwave.
