Energy Saver Options are Great

I'm pleased with our purchase thus far. The best feature of this item are the Energy-Saver options. I like the fact that we can set the timer to turn off the lighting (at the base), the fan and the clock during standby. Those options save energy that would otherwise be wasted. The only con would be that the rack has to be taken out to use the rotating tray underneath for most food items. If the rack were placed higher up or if the cooking area were a few inches deeper in height this could be avoided.

This microwave actually came with our new house and we love it! It cooks evenly and quickly. I would definitely buy it again!

The touch pad is easy to read. The prompts are easy to follow. I like that it keeps my food warm for a time after cycle ends. The exhaust fan is quite efficient and was one of the reasons I chose this particular model. The door handle compliments my cabinetry hardware. The removable rack feature in addition to the carousel is very useful when entertaining a crowd.

We bought this mw about 6 months ago. It works very well, and cooks food evenly. Turntable is quiet. And cooking is also very quiet. Better than our old GE. Door is nice and solid much better than most we sawThe fan works very well, and we like that it has multiple speeds. The under light is nice and bright, and also has two levels. Both of which fit our needs. The only thing I didn't like is the feature that allows you to start the cook cycle and set the time simultaneously. On our old GE, if you pressed 1 - 9, you got 100% power and 1 through 9 minutes cooking time. With the Whirlpool, you have a 30sec button. If you want 2 minutes cook time (about right for a cup of coffee) you have to push the 30 sec button 4 times, We would recommend to friends and family.

just had this installed in the last few weeks and it seems to be pretty good. Does an excellent job of heating things and is pretty easy to use. Have not had a chance to use all the features yet. I hope it lasts longer than my previous one--- another Whirlpool that only last 5.5 yrs.
