[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased with my shiny new stainless steel gas cooktop. In a matter of a week or two the stainless steel showed burn marks from the fire. These burn marks are not washable or can not be cleaned away. This is unacceptable we they are called stainless. Help

We're glad that you like your gas cooktop. However, in regards with the burn mark that you experienced. Please know that this is something we wouldn't be able to control. We understand that you feel this way, please know that we take every inquiry very seriously and handle each concern on a case-by-case basis. No worries, here's what we can do to remove the burn mark in your cooktop.
First, we need to Spray the stovetop with vinegar and buff it with a microfiber cloth.
Second, we need to Scrub the surface with baking soda. Wipe as much off the stove top as you can with a damp paper towel. Sprinkle baking soda over the burn marks. Soak a microfiber towel in a dish soap solution. Lay the towel over the baking soda and leave it for 15 minutes. Scrub the surface in a circular pattern with a scrubbing pad.
If it doesn't resolve the issue that you were having. Please know that we always advised that after using the unit we should clean it immediately so that the marks won't stay and last longer in the unit. We advise to continue doing the steps that we provided. no reduce in flame

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From Hi setting on knob through the next 3 settings down, the flame height does not change. Don't have a medium flame height until almost on lowest setting, then very tricky to get low flame. I was accustomed to a gradual flame reduction as I turned the knob. Will need to get familiar with these settings.

30" gas cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 1955 built house originally had Fridgidaire appliances. We replaced the fridgidaire cooktop several years ago with a maytag range and kept the original oven. When doing our recent remodel we choose a new fridgidaire 30" gas cooktop and 22" electric wall oven.
Love the look and funcuality of both! When looking for a cooktop, fridgidaire was the only model we could find that had stainless knobs, important to us! (the others stated stainless colored plastic) we needed to change from natural gas to propane, the parts were included and easy to change. The cooktop works as it should and is easy to clean. The oven looks beautiful, however, was a little tricky to install as there is no lip on the top leaving only 1/8" to work with. After much measuring my husband did get it to fit. A lip on the top of the oven would make it much easier to install!
