Frigidaire Gallery Kitchen Appliances

We bought last Feb. the entire suite of Frigidaire Gallery Professional appliances for our kitchen. The gas/propane cooktop I really like and the stainless steel is easy to clean with SS cleaner and a microfiber cloth. My complaint is the grates. I wipe them down after every use and regardless of what I wipe them with, they get the cloth fuzz balls on the grates which make them look dusty. I've tried different types of cloths, but nothing seems to work. I just cleaned them again with a fine toothbrush and am letting them air dry to see if that helps. Any suggestions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the cooktop! It is sturdy, and the burners have a nice range of heat. The only thing lacking is a power boil feature, but if that's not important then this is the cooktop for you!

My first gas stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from electric, I can say that this definitely heats and cooks faster. I had thought that gas was supposed to hear more evenly, but I don't find this to be the case. Definitely a bit of a pain to clean vs a flat cook top, but once you've taken off the pan holders it's fairly smooth for wiping down. The griddle that came with it is really rough! Shredded the paper towel I was trying to use to spread the vegetable oil on to season it.
On to the good things. Lights fast and reliably. Great materials for construction. Knobs are hefty, the racks above the burners are cat iron out something and they have little silicone feet on them to make it so they don't clang on the base. The knobs have little silicone gaskets on them so they quietly go back on after cleaning. Really ups the lux feel.
