Poor design, knobs turn too easily

We have had this product for almost two years. During that time, we've had to have it serviced twice due to the igniters getting clogged. Our biggest complaint though is how easily the knobs turn and starts the gas flowing. We have accidently bumped a knob and unknowingly started the gas flowing several times. We only discovered that this had happened when we started smelling the gas. Recently we left our dogs unattended in the house as we often do and came back home to find the stove on with the ingniter clicking! Our dog had jumped up to check out a bowl we had left on the back of the stove and turned it on! Luckily, she did ignite the stove so the house didn't fill with gas. This could have been a disaster with either the house burning down or exploding. I contacted the customer service chat and was told to buy child-proof knob covers which I will do right away. I do feel like this problem is a design flaw and a lock needs to be added to the cooktop to prevent things like this happening.
The cooktop works well most of the time but I would not purchase it again.

Excellent stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first gas stove and and I am IN LOVE. It works so well and it is easy to use. Cleaning is easy as well. It is nice to have a stove range big enough to have multiple things cooking at once without being cramped. I highly recommend this range top.
