Baking at what temp?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our double wall ovens when we built our home this past year. I was so excited to get them as I had always dreamed of having two full size wall ovens. They function well, are what I expected, and are easy to clean. Both ovens came with an extra rack which was quite a surprise. My only disappointment is in the temperature setting. It is a manual dial. While the oven is preheating or cooking there is no digital display of the current temp. I guess that's not a necessary feature but it seems without it Frigidaire is stepping backwards. Also since I am short we had to lower the oven unit so I could read and adjust the dials comfortably. That makes the top oven at a good height, but the bottom oven is a bit lower than I'd like. It would be a nice feature to have the controls in-between the two ovens for better line of sight and convenience.

Good performance, lacking in features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received these ovens as part of our builder's kitchen package. Overall, they work very well. I especially love the no preheat feature to get dinner on the table quickly after a busy day. It's attractive, and seems to heat evenly.
My biggest issue is the display and the digital features. The display doesn't allow you to do much. It doesn't show the current temp, and there's no number pad to manually enter in a timer quickly. Also, the light is a bit finicky. If you turn it on, then open and close the door, the light will turn off because the door was closed, but the light button is still lit and you have to press it twice (turn off the button and then turn it back on) to get it to light again. Just seems like an oversight from the engineers. Also, the timer alert is very quiet and only beeps once. We often miss the timer and have at times overcooked the food because of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bakes very well with even heat and accurate temperature. My only complaint is with the oven timer. The bell is so quiet it cannot be heard which makes the timer useless.

We've had these double ovens (and all of the Frigidaire Pro appliances) for three months now and couldn't be happier! They look great and work even better. We had one problem with the preheat lights not going off when the ovens got to temperature, but the repair man came quickly and fixed it for free under the warranty. All in all, we are really happy with the Frigidaire professional line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Initial problems

We bought this oven along with the refrigerator, dish washer, and microwave. The items came and were installed 2 weeks ago. The refrigerator was physically damaged and the ice maker does not work. The ovens do not work. The bottom oven begins preheat and then flashes an error code. The top oven never reaches pre-heat temperature and then shuts off. The appliance house we purchased from is not responding to our pleads for help. As of now we do not know when these problems will be addressed. I give 2 stars instead of zero because the units do look nice.

Problem with fan

We just had this oven installed and the first time we turned it on the fan in the bottom oven is rubbing metal on metal. It is also rather noisy in general. I have yet to call a service tech. Who should I call?

Also love the Pro Doble oven, but...

We purchased the Cafe Door Pro Fridge, counter depth only because it was smudge proof. Greatest thing we could have done vis-a-vis a fridge. Functional, looks good, and, it is very smudge proof. The on the door indicators are very nice.
Purchased the Pro Double oven because of the fridge. We did not review on line.
Both appliances look absolutely great.
We have two issues with the oven; the first is that the UPPER OVEN (and LOWER OVEN) LED light cycles on and off as the power is cycled to the elements, when the oven is below temperature. The PREHEAT light is alway on, regardless of the oven temperature. This seems reversed from what it should be and what the manual says.
The digital display is really lacking as far as info goes. All it shows is the time and two TIMER displays so you can set the timer for each oven. No where can you see what the oven temperatures are really at. I find this really odd. If you need to start baking at one temperature, then turn it down and when it reaches the lower temp, you have no idea where the oven temp is at. You have no idea how quickly the oven is heating up.
Maybe we are missing something. I would recommend this to someone but point out these short comings

Does what it is supposed to, but some frustration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an oven it works as expected. The real issue I have with it is the touch controls. To say they are frustrating is an understatement. Trying to increment the timers can take some time. If your fingers are cold it wont work at all. So I have to warm my fingers and then it is still hit an miss. I strongly suggest a redesign. Also the fans run all the time when the oven is on and can be loud and annoying. I would not purchase it again.
