Need to rethink this oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was installed by the builder. Truly dislike this over. You cannot tell what temperature your at and the timer beeps once really low so you can't even hear it. It seem to cook ok but I use my timer for everything so this is a big deal to me. I read the instructions and there is not way to turn it up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful oven...BUT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we purchased our home 1.5 years ago we upgraded the kitchen appliances to get this oven. It has been nothing but problems we have already had the control panel replaced and we still cannot use both ovens simultaneously, the timer only beeps once and at a very low volume and we cannot use the oven cleaning feature. I would definitely not recommend this oven.

How many repairs does it take?

We chose all Frigidaire Professional appliances for our remodel. Our double wall ovens are a HUGE disappointment! We are on repair number 3! First, a fan was replaced, then the motherboard, now the fan will be replaced again! These were brand new 6 months ago. That F45 error code keeps reoccurring and I cannot preheat either oven. How many times will the same parts be replaced before the company will replace it? So very disappointed that I can’t have a reliable appliance.

Having a lot of trouble.

I have found several hot spots in the oven, even when using convection, the most "even" setting this oven has. I normally put cookies in the oven and babysit them changing the rack several times during the baking of cookies, trying to get all the cookies baked and non of them burned. It is quite the task. Even after re-reading the owners manual to insure I was doing things correctly, I continued to have problems. I thought something must be wrong with the oven, had a repair man come out and he replaced the temperature sensor as well as the main control, I still have the same problems. On convection there are hot spots and some cookies on the pan get burned and some are under done, too underdone to serve. When using the regular bake setting, the bottoms of the cookies burn and the tops are under done. So, I find myself a little done with this oven that is 14 months old. Way over spent on this oven for its poor performance.

Frigidaire Professional Appliances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year we built a house and installed Frigidaire Professional double wall ovens, refrigerator, microwave, gas cook top and dishwasher. We had to wait for the ovens a couple of months since apparently the entire professional line appearance was updated last year. Our double ovens also had a problem with the preheat lights not going off, the installer had to contact the company and found out the wiring was not done correctly. Took a few visits but it eventually was resolved. I have noticed the noise from the cooling fans has increased, the noise is not reproduced by spinning the fan, I think it is coming from the fan motor itself. The top oven makes a much louder noise than the lower oven. I have called the installer for a service call to come and check it out. I would have to agree with others that the touch panel leaves something to be desired. The timer is so faint, it is barely perceptible above the noise of the running oven. And it only seems to chime once when it reaches zero. The appearance of the appliances is terrific, they do not smudge like older stainless steel; however I would give up the smudge free for better functioning appliances. We had issues with the microwave door not opening when the button is pushed, the refrigerator not making ice. I sure hope we can get the fan noise issue resolved. I have lived over half a century not hearing the oven but these can be heard in the TV room next door when they are running. For the added expense, we thought the quality would have been better.

cooks quickly, agree with the past timer reviews, need a shut off time program, it is supposed to be a professional product, but its just an old fashioned oven made to look slick

Stopped Working in 3 months - Terrible Warranty

It's been over a month and still haven't received service, despite it being within the 1 year warrantee period. Would not recommend this or any other Frigidaire products.
