Built in oven

I purcashed this built in oven when we remodeled. in the three years we've owned it we've had numerous service calls due to it's operation. The fan went out on the lower oven and to get it fixed took months. we have a refrigerator, microwave, stove top burner and microwave and we have had problems with all of them some as early as 8 months after installation.I would not recommend Frigidare!

Disappointed

I bought the professional series double wall oven, dishwasher and cooktop. The cooktkop works fine but am not impressed with the dishwasher or oven. The dishwasher racks seem flimsy and my dishes do not come out as clean as they did with my Maytag. The bigger disappointment is with the oven. While it looks nice, it is very noisy. The fan constantly cycles off and on. The preheat light never goes off regardless if I put the oven in bake, convection or no-preheat mode. While this preheat light is on, the oven just cycles off and on, but the food will not properly bake.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love this new double oven EXCEPT

remodeled my new kitchen with frigidaire products 5 burner stove top, refrigerator freezer upright stainless steel, dishwasher and cooling drawers. love the look, however the bottom oven never has worked, when i pre hear the error f 45 came on, the repair man been here twice, once to see what was wrong, (heat sensor bad and new board needed) came back two weeks later the part he opened was broken had to order another one oven installed 7/28 and has never been used, still no repair this is a shame as it makes me question my choices. i cook for 4 to 7 people each day and really need this appliance

convection fan blows on all settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] seemingly the only thing this oven has going for it is the looks which are awesome and the roller racks which are helpful. As far as performance goes..... very frustrating! extremely difficult to get the touch display to read or adjust if not impossible at times. The convection fans run on bake and convection bake and cookies must be flipped half way through or half of the pan is over done:(
also for a professional oven there are no timed start features that you can set to start cooking when away so when you get hime dinner is ready. (I should have done my research on this feature) But mostly just frustrated about a brand new oven that functions so poorly. Our last house we had the standard stainless double oven and it worked great! spent more that twice as much for one that operates poorly! i think we got a real lemon.

I don't know where to start: It's very loud, even with the fan, the back of the oven gets WAY hotter than the front, resulting in uneven cooking, it's takes about 20 min to preheat to 425, you can't turn on the top and bottom lights separately, the touch screen on the timers are very inconsistent in how much pressure you need to use to operate them and setting them is very slow, etc., etc. On the positive side though, it looks really cool.

DocQ, I am dismayed to hear how dissatisfied you are with the features of your wall oven. Models with the hidden bake feature (like your model) take a little longer to preheat. Times ranging from 10 to 17 minutes are normal to preheat to 350° F. Preheating to 450°F could normally take 20 minutes. Timer is worthless

These ovens are beautiful, and work very well. However, despite the timer being turned up to maximum volume I cannot hear it unless I am standing right next to it. Additionally it doesn't continue to beep until you turn it off. I replaced a fridgidare range that was a third of the price and had a functional timer. A timer is an essential function for an oven, this almost makes me want to return the ovens.

Looks nice, missing "pro" features

I'm trying to understand what makes these ovens "Professional". There is no timed bake or delay bake functionality. It's interesting that so many of the 5* reviews are "Incentivized".

Hey the Darwin! In researching, I was able to see that your particular wall oven has the look of a professional product that you may see in a chef’s kitchen. Although, it doesn’t now have the time baked or delay bake functions. It has so many other great features, such as dual timers, which allows you to set a timer for both ovens when cooking dishes simultaneously. –Kindly-CiCi
