Great appliance fan makes a lot of noise

Like almost everything about this oven. The only negative is the fan makes a lot of noise. Fan runs in all modes and anytime the oven is heating

Like the features, but the noise....

Was very excited to redo my kitchen and love this family of appliances. Bought the fridge, cooktop and oven. Love the fridge and cooktop but the oven is very noisy. The fan sounds like a jet and when it shuts off, it winds down with a clatter. This can't be normal. I have only used it 1/2 dozen times as it is brand new. I'm going to call in a warranty service request but after seeing these comments am now a bit worried. Any thoughts, Frigidaire, I'd love to see a response to this common complaint - maybe a warranty fix is in the works?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this wall oven a few week ago and the fan is very very very loud. Also I thought the 2 timers was a great feature only to find out that you can't hear it when it goes off unless you are in the kitchen. I loved the look but wouldn't suggest this purchase to any of my friends

In addition to the convection fan that helps to deliver consistent results whether you are baking or roasting, some models are equipped with a cooling fan that runs during the cooking process to cool internal electronic components. It is normal for this fan to continue to run for an extended period of time, even when the oven has been turned off. Your timer has a volume control, so you can adjust how loud or soft the alert is. Page 9 in your Owner’s Manual addresses the user preferences you can program. Page 11 in your Owner’s Manual shows you how to adjust the audible alert volume setting. Surprised at how long it takes to preheat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought all new Frigidaire Professional appliances for my complete kitchen remodel. This wall oven model has what is called a "hidden baking element" which means you cannot see the heating element on the bottom of the oven. I did not know this when I bought it but apparently this causes the oven to take (what I consider) an extraordinary time to preheat - up to 20 minutes to get to 350. So you have to plan accordingly when you want to use it. The blower turning on and off while cooking took some getting used to but I guess this is because it is wall mounted and needs to cool itself during use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice oven

Bought this oven 3 months ago. So far it has performed very well. The only thing I would change is the oven light & timer are super sensitive, so when I get close to use the microwave, I either turn on the light or touch the timer.

Great design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this oven 4 months in our newly remodeled kitchen. It looks great and has some good features like the heavy sliding rack. However, it is very slow to heat up to desired temp and is not accurate when compared to a temperature guage. Also, the fan goes on constantly and is noisy and whines at times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
