Not Comparable to prior 17 year old oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our contractor provided us an option to upgrade to the Professional series for (of course) a significant upgrade fee. So we chose that since this is to be our retirement home and we wanted the best.
Well, three things wrong with this oven:
1. No temperature indicator! Who ever saw an oven that did not tell you the temperature? Yes, there is a tiny little light that says it is at the correct temperature, but that is hard to see.
2. The timer - when it goes off, there is a tiny little beep that can barely be heard. If out of the room you WILL miss it. And the repeat beep is also barely heard. As opposed to the Frigidaire Professional series microwave that has an annoyingly loud persistent beep. Yet it stops cooking when done. The oven keeps cooking even when timer is done.
3. Already my wife walked by the temperature control knob and brushed by them and the knob changed temperature. With no temperature indicator this adds to the problem.
4. No broiler pan provided.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NO Temperature Display!

Came in our new house in a “Professional” package. No way to actually know what your temp is without oven thermometer! Dial is in 100 degree increments so if you need 325 you have to guess where that may be and then there is NO temperature display only timers. Who designed this? Obviously not anyone that bakes!

Great Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven was just the right size for our space & needs. We love having so many options (no preheat, convection, regular). LOVE the no fingerprint finish and how sturdy the entire unit feels. We could not give five stars because the fan is loud and the timer(s) is not. I can live with the fan noise, but I really need to be able to hear the timer go off. I shouldn't have to stand next to it watching the timer, as that defeats the purpose of having a timer. We would also like a more exacting temperature control.

Replaced a 16 year old Frigidaire Pro Wall Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new "Pro" is not as good as the old "Pro". The fan motors are loud and noisy - pre-heat is slow and you have no idea what temp the oven is on other than just trusting the settings. So far the cooking is okay but bought it mainly to match the microwave/oven that is above it on the wall.
In reading some of the complaints these same issues have been around for years and Frigidaire has done nothing to resolve them. If I had it to do over again I would have gone with another brand.

Great Oven Performance

However, the timer is awful - it is hard to set, with an alarm (set on High) that you can only hear if you are within a few feet of the oven and paying attention.

Looks good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking product and I could not wait until it arrives and we install it. It looks great but makes a lot of noise when running. We still have not figured out why. We have the same noise issue with the gas oven/stove. The refrigerator also is a lemon. We have a side by side and everything on the side closer to the freezer, freeze, it is very disappointing. I am hoping their customer support can fix them or replace them.

Good Not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The temp dial is hard to read and could have indents to keep it from moving during baking.....and the thing sounds like a freight train while baking.
