I used the correct utensils but had major problems with the surface of the insert pitting. I wasted an entire 7 quart meal when the surface bubbled and pieces ended up in the food. Very disappointed in this product. I have since bought a less expensive brand and it has performed beautifully. I have given several of the less expensive brand as gifts.

Worked 3 times

I spent this extravagant amount of money, expecting All Clad quality. I have not had the chance to see if the insert bubbled or peeled, because after the third use it will not power on. At all. A total waste of money and apparently this company does not stand behind its electronics products. Don't waste your money.

Enjoy this slow cooker while you can. Ceramic insert cracked and then fell apart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nonstick coating on insert not up to "All Clad" quality
on December 13, 2018

Same problem as many others. We only used wooden and plastic utensils to be careful not to scratch the nonstick coating on the insert but it still began to peel and now has bubbled in many places too. So it's no longer usable. We also have an old crockpot that's last much longer than this one did and we likely purchased it for ten times less!

What a crock (sans the pot)

I totally expected this thing to outlast the crockpot that my mom gave me that is 40 years old. It did not. The buttons and screen deceptively show that it is cooking, but it only heats for about 30-60 mins and then quits. Nearest repair center 3 hours away is even more disappointing. Double boo.

Excellent quality

I received this product in a sampling program. I have been using this product for a couple weeks now and have tried a variety of recipes including the following: Peach Melba Bread Pudding, Mahogany Glazed Pork Loin, and French Onion Soup. Everything I have tried so far has turned out well. I found that the programmable timer was easy to use. My previous slow cooker was not made with stainless steel and I really like how sleek this crockpot looks. The product was also easy to clean. I would definitely consider purchasing an All Clad Slow Cooker in the future. And I would recommend it to others.

Waste of my money

I was so surprised of the lack of quality of this All-Clad product. I used this slow cooker maybe 10 times over 3 years and then one day it just stopped working. I was happy with its performance when it did work. Having paid so much money for it to work for 3 years, was disappointing. What a piece of junk

Won't turn on-- advice?

Good product-- extravagant present from family. Only used a half dozen time -- after using it at the holidays, now will not power up. Screen indicators visible in pale grey but not lighting/heating. Are there fuses or a reset feature? Thanks for a reply.
