Aluminum Liner coating is defective & bubbled
on December 13, 2018

A bubble in the non-stick coating appears and then exposes the aluminum base. The remainder of the insert looks brand new and the electronics work great. Unfortunately, the replacement insert cost is making me reconsider investing in this brand twice. I won't throw good money after bad!

Insert non-stick is peeling
on December 13, 2018

There are similar slow cookers on the market for far less money. I'm very disappointed with the poor quality of the insert on this one. This is not what I had come to expect of All-Clad and I will think twice before buying another All-Clad appliance of any kind.

non stick comes off

Unfortunately, I have similar experience as other reviewers. I have had my slow cooker for close to 7 years, and now I see small bubbles at the bottom and sides of the aluminum insert. I most certainly don;t want to eat aluminum. Given the price, I would have hoped the slow cooker would have lasted longer.

Insert bubbling and peeling
on December 13, 2018

I received this as a gift Christmas 2016 and less than a year later the aluminum insert has started bubbling and peeling. I have never used metal tools in it I have never placed it on high heat empty and only once used it for browning as the product is marketed. I was looking for a replacement insert without success and after reading the other reviews have decided I will stop looking and go to a different brand

Same issue - Insert bubbling
on December 13, 2018

Have owned pots / pans from AllClad and LOVE them. Thought we would be getting a high quality slow cooker with their brand. After 2.5 years of use (approx. twice a month), NEVER using it to sear and always using silicone / plastic ware the insert is bubbling and peeling. Extremely disappointed !

Not up to standards

I've been cooking for many years and my kitchen is fully equipped with All-Clad products. The crockpot is a huge disappointment. My first programmable crockpot broke and thought it was just a fluke. I purchased the 7 qt. programmable crockpot and half way through the cooking process it broke. It also bubbled and flaked. I assure you I know enough not to use metal utensils. I have decided not to purchase any All-clad products from now on.

Liner does not hold up despite correct utensils
on December 13, 2018

This was an expensive purchase from William Sonoma. Should hold up right? I cook with a crock pot all the time and felt the price, beauty and the brand all justified the price. So disappointed the liner is blistering and I can no longer use it safely!! The product, still available, should be pulled from the line up of Al-Clad appliances. WS should remove the item from the catalogue.

Nothing but problems

I bought this product years ago. After a couple of uses the non-stick coating started to come off. An on-line retailer that I bought it from replaced the whole cooker but the replacement did the same. After years of sitting on the shelf I called All-Clad before throwing it away and they replaced the aluminum insert, free of charge, with a better non-stick coating. I've used it 6 times since then and now it won't heat. In all the years that I've owned this cooker I've used it less than 20 times. Junk!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
