Great Slow Cooker!

I couldn't wait for temperatures to cool down so I could try out my new slow cooker. So far I have not been disappointed! I have tried soups, stews, and roasts and they have all cooked to perfection. Meats and veggies come out tender and never overcooked. The All Clad is very easy to use. There seems to be a larger variety of time settings than other slow cookers that I have used. It is nice that the insert is ceramic so that I can brown meats on the stove before cooking or it can even go in the oven after cooking or for reheating. I am excited to cook my next meal!

Is it All Clad or a fake???

I have All Clad pots and pans, utensils and more. All have been great. But the slow cooker is a nightmare!!! We are now eating flakes of non-stick coating. I use wood utensils and low to medium heat but it just bubbles and then peels off. I suspect that some evil company is selling these pieces of trash and branding them All Clad to destroy the hard earned reputation of a major American company!!! Maybe it is the North Koreans since this quality is the worst I've encountered.

Too fragile, handle broke off the insert while unpacking from box it came in. Just lifting insert out of the slow cooker while still in the box, one handle broke off. I would rate it lower yet but no way to do that.

If you do not like the surface of the current aluminum insert, you might try looking for an insert from the original all clad slow cooker. Mine is intact and performs beautifully. No flaking, not even any scratches.

Love it. 7 years and going strong

Well, I dunno what everyone else is all upset about... I've been using this slow cooker for more than 7 years and I love it. It does everything I want it to do and more. I love the removable insert that is perfect fro browning on a gas range and then putting into the slow cooker. The automatic warm function is awesome for parties where I can throw it all together in the morning, and it's ready to serve all night long, never have to touch it. Actually right now I'm using the warm function to dedrystalize some honey overnight.

Have had mine for many years since it first came out. I love the versatility of this crock pot. It's the best I ever had. Will replace with another one if something happens to this one.

I got this slow cooker almost a decade ago (it came with a ceramic insert back then; I bought the stove top insert separately when it came out). I've used it probably weekly since, often for long slow stock-making (12+ hours). It's been a trooper! I'm on here because it's finally succumbed to the abuse and not quite hold its temperature. I'm guessing with the other reviews, people got lemons.

This slow cooker exceeds my expectations every time I use it! Clean up is a breeze...even if you leave it out overnight and clean it the next day! It works consistently, and everything from queso to pot roast comes out great. We've had this cooker for well over 5 years and use it often. Yes, the coating on the insert shows wear, but it's still usable and I'm going to see about just purchasing a new insert.
I would recommend this to a friend!
