Insert is flawed and potentially dangerous

I bought this two years ago and the non-stick surface began to bubble and flake off. It was still new so I contacted the company and they sent me a new insert. A year later the same thing is happening. This is clearly a design or manufacturing problem that the company should make good on. I will not buy another All-Clad product and recommend to anyone to avoid this product.

Cooked well at first, but insert coating seems low quality. Bubbled and flaked off and now is useless.

Like Others, The Insert Has Cracked

Like others, the insert has cracked making a mess in the kitchen (countertop, drawers, floor). I have had this longer than most but I probably do not use it as much as other so the insert lasted longer. When it works, it works great but I am not going to risk having to go through that clean up again. Very disappointed considering the money spent. After reading that other have this same issue, I will not buy another one or even attempt to replace. There is only one spot for this slow cooker....the trash.

I absolutely LOVE this cookware. I have the whole line of all-clad cookware & this is my favorite piece. I can cook a roast from start to finish without using other cookware, because insert pot fits nicely on stove to sear. I am actually looking for something a little smaller as this works great for big groups. You can put 2 large roasts with the veges in 1 pot. I cannot say enough good things about this. It is also EASY clean up & even goes in dishwasher if you desire.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved this slow cooker when it was new but shortly after using it several times the inside started to bubble and peel off. For how much this cooker costs it should have lasted for a long time. I wonder how much of this black coating I actually ate. I wish I could buy a ceramic bowl to fit my model but I don't see one available. If I need to buy another slow cooker it will not be an All-Clad.

Used to be great until it wasn't....

We received this as a wedding present and it used to work great for the first couple of years as we didn't use it all that often (we've used it maybe 30 times total). I loved the nonstick feature but about a year ago it started bubbling and the surface came off but it was out of warranty per the "lovely" lady at AC customer service. Now after "cooking" something for the whole day I find out that it heated up and shut off some time after I went to work. Now I have to have plan B for dinner. Off it goes into the trash. For this price I would have expected it to last longer.

Insert is bad

I have had my cooker for 2 years. The insert immediately started showing signs that the lining was going to bubble and come off. I contacted WS and they didn't help me. At this point, there is a huge portion missing and I would like to have it replaced but I can't seem to find anyone to talk to about it. I would even purchase a replacement insert but I can't find one.
