I bought it because my other black and decker was giving out....I was a little shaky buying it. once I received it I was amazing how much power it hadi love it easy to use and very simple to clean it out charges very good. If your thinking about buying it get it you won't be disappointed one bit

Love the pivot

I've had this unit for more than 5 years, never fails to perform. Very strong suction. The key to long battery life with this unit is, don't store it in the factory holder/charger. I don't care what they say about battery life, or memory issues, never store a battery operated device where it constantly charges if you want it to last. Charge it when it's dead or dying. I usually get at least 2 months worth of use out of this device between charges, and I have a large hairy dog who sheds constantly. They only drawback is the entry port to the holding chamber, which is narrow enough to clog occasionally, but a skewer stick or screwdriver will take care of that quickly.

I bought this hand vac for cleaning my pontoon. Had another handvac that had battery power of less than five minutes. This device is exactly what I needed. Great battery life. Easy to use. Simple to keep clean. Highly recommend

strong dislike of this vacuum

No matter what i do or how many times i clean and replace the filter on this thing, it sets off my air purifier every time. I hate thinking about all the dust particles i am breathing in while using it. Doesnt actually get into corners well, i have to use my other vacuum to reach any corners. And if you touch it against something in a certain way, the door opens and spills all the debris out onto the floor to be vacuumed up again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good aside from battery

This worked really well when it was new but the battery did not last long. Now runs for only 40 seconds on a full charge and I expect it will be completely dead soon. And no replacement battery either.

Stopped working after three times

Received as a gift and was super excited until the third time using it. Started making a horrible noise and smelled like burnt wires. Now it doesn't do anything and Im very disappointed
