Short lived battery

A very nice portable powerful hand vac that is only good for a short amount of time. Lithium batter difficult to maintain and short lived without any replacement. Good for maybe 18 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great then dies

It worked great when I first bought it great suction the battery slowly dies and then doesn’t charge at all and there is no way to replace the battery. Waste of money

Hard to find on line manual

There is a link on the product page but it takes you to the main BD site where there is no obvious way to find the on line manual. How about making it more user friendly BD?

Works wonderfully

I’ve owned this handheld vac for 3 years now and love it’s features and power. Does a wonderful job and its easy to clean out the dust collector. Also comes apart easily for complete cleaning. Well engineering B&D product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Suction - Terrible Battery Life

Suction is great, it's easy to clean, it has a brush & suction extender, it's lightweight. As indicated in other reviews, the battery life is terrible. If you get 8 minutes out of it, you're lucky. I purchased this (w/out reading the reviews first) because I read a review from the NYTimes (?) of the best cordless vac.

Ok until the battery goes

It worked ok for a while. Then the battery life started deteriorating until it no longer holds a charge. Since it is not replaceable it is now nothing more than another item destined for the landfill. I guess Black+Decker does not support the 5 R's.

This product is not worth the money one pays for it.... after only 3 months and only used several times the motor howls and it lacks any suction power at all....beware of this vacuum ... it's a lemon !!!
