Works great...until the battery dies

I bought this two years ago, and I now get about 30 seconds of use before the battery dies. Suction very good while the battery lasts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works good but limited battery life

The Black+Decker-20V MAX Lilthium Pivot Vac worked great, but, unfortunately the lithium battery is not replaceable. So, after using it for two or three years the battery life is spent. I will have to buy a new Vac rather than just replace the battery.

Best hand vac ever

I bought this about 3 years ago. It is the best hand vac I have ever had. But alas, the cord that connects to the charger broke off. I could not find a replacement charger, so I purchased another brand and I am really disappointed with it. Hopefully I can find another charger for my Black and Decker cordless handheld pivot vac which is so easy and convenient to use.

This is the Second time I have purchased this vac from Black and Decker. This is a great model. I have used cordless handheld vacs my entire life from when my mother would put me to work cleaning the steps and the kitchen floor with a "dustbuster". and this pivot vac from Black and Decker is the BEST i have ever owned. This model with give you Great power to get your entire job done. It has never run out our power on me while doing a job. full strength suction until the job is done. Very easy to empty... and you can even take it apart and run it through the dishwasher. i love the pivoting head and the dust brush that just flips out... and did i mention the crevice tool that extends easily from the tip of the nozzle head. this unit is great and the last one was so reliable and performed so well that after 4 years of service from the first one that we bought a new one. i highly recommend this vac!

Perfect for Cleanups

I have had this little vacuum for about 5 years and it works great. It's super powerful and versatile. It folds up small and fits nicely on its charger base. The 20 volt battery only lasts about 10 minutes so it's made for cleanups and small jobs. I use it for my car too and the battery life is fine. It's easy to empty and easy to disassemble for cleaning the filter. I have bought 2 more of these for gifts and the recipients love them. It's the best little vacuum I have ever owned.

Better than I expected

So far so good, about 6 months now. The machine is very powerful and that's what I wanted. Easy to clean. Lots of negative reviews regarding the battery. I don't use it to clean my house. I use it for a few minutes at a time, then put it back in the charging cradle. No issues with the battery so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good for small pet messes, arm is too narrow

I got this handheld cordless vaccuum to clean up areas used by my small rabbit ie small pebbles ,straw dust, etc. Everything gets stuck in the shaft of the cleaner, and it is hard to empty. I have to shake out the cup and bits of straw get stuck in the shaft. Therefore I cannot recommend this vaccum cleaner. It is also rather heavy for a small machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery not working properly

Unit is 3 1/2 years old . Battery is fully charged, however unit is working properly only for bout 20-30 seconds after that seams to be losing power. Powering on and off the unit gives another 20 seconds of use. By switching on and off it can function like this for some time.
