I love this hand vac. This is a replacement for the 18V I previously had which I loved. But, this 20V is much more powerful. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a replacement for the same one we bought approx 3 years ago. Was a good value for the price. Was at first surprised that the battery died after 3 years, but then I realized how much we use it daily. Not disappointed with the life of this product and would definitely recommend if your looking for a powerful, lightweight, reasonably priced, cordless vac!

This is my second one that I purchased. Beats all the other hand held vacs hands down just on the power alone.

Received the 20V Max Pivot hand vac as a Xmas gift in 2018. Was very pleased with it especially with the great suction, the length of time it lasted between charges and the fast charging. Our initial impression was that this was the best hand vac we had ever owned. Used it approximately twice a week for quick floor cleanups - no pets or kids so no heavy duty needs. In December 2019, we noticed a scraping sound when we turned on the vac which soon got worse. It sounded like something was wrong with the motor. Took it to authorized service shop as still under warranty. They sent it to Black & Decker and told us it would likely be replaced. Sure enough they called us a couple of weeks later to let us know the new one was ready for pick-up. The new one works fine for now and we hope it lasts longer than the previous one. Our son has been using a lower voltage version of this hand vac for a few years without problems so we were very surprised about what happened to ours. Very happy with the quick response with the company but do feel that the original product should have lasted much longer. Based on this experience, we can't honestly give a higher rating at this time.

Best hand vac I've ever had!

I received this vacuum as a gift, when I ordered another large item. I didn't open it for the longest time - until my other hand-vac died. I wish I'd opened it immediately. I would have thrown my other one away. I've tried several different hand vacs, and I looked at this one in the store but was concerned about the angle, and the narrow opening. I put it on the kitchen counter, so it would be visible and easily accessible.
I was somewhat worried about what my husband would say, because he's so difficult to make happy, when it comes to things like this. As expected, he did complain that we had "another one" on the counter, but he was the first to use it. I was so thrilled when he said "That's thing is great. Have you used it? Throw the other one away."
It has since become our go-to vacuum for all small to medium-sized jobs. My car is cleaner than it's ever been, since I use it there, too. I can quickly pick up all the messes that the grandkids (toddlers) make, and I feel like I can keep the floor cleaner, because I vacuum up the small pieces of dirt and leaves, that we track in.
It is easy to clean - I love that all the pieces come apart, and I can wash them in the sink. It has a lot of power and maintains it for quite a while. I haven't yet had the battery die, but I do keep it on the charging stand all the time. Some things do get stuck at the sharp angle from the nozzle and the dirt cup, causing the flap-valve to stick open, but that is easily remedied. I LOVE IT and will definitely recommend it, give it as a gift and/or buy it again, if this one ever dies.
