Nice features; good price

This is my home printer. It’s somewhat slower than my last printer and jams when I do 2 sided color prints. To get 2 sided copies I print one side then flip the paper and then run the second side through. Not a problem if used at home but it can be a nuisance in an office environment. Overall, a nice printer that needs my needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The HL-3180CDW is well built, very nice appearance, functions as it should, easy and quick to set up and quiet enough for a home office. After one month use I am very pleased with it's performance. I have a very old Brother inkjet printer that has way outlasted all other printers I have tried over the years. so my confidence in Brother printers made this an easy choice. I especially wanted a color laser because of it's dry ink tanks. I like the way the printed pages lay on the shelf without flying out on the floor and an extended shelf is not needed to contain the printed pages. One does have to reach in however to retrieve the pages but I am fine with it. 100% success after one month with no malfunctions. I am happy with this purchase.

Good printer with many online features.

Quality of printing is average - on par with other laser printers.
Wifi connected and worked easily to my router. Just had to take the retainers off of all 4 toner cartridges.
All print functions can be accessed through touch screen. You can scan to a file on a registered computer, send the scan to an email address, any online file storage or even Facebook. That is a pretty nice set of functions and easy to use.
Double sided printing works fine.
The Control Center works well on the PC and allows OCR.
Printing time is fast and warm-up is only 30 sec. Warm up from power off takes more than a minute.

Perfect for Family’s!!!

I have 2 girls who like to print. I got this mainly because I thought the toner cartrage would be a better deal and heck yes it is better. Not only the quality of the printer but the overall printed look is much better. They can print in color pretty much what ever they want.

The display is easily read and very easy to use. the cartridges are also very easy to change out and cleaning is accessible.
