We're sorry to hear of the issues encountered. How are you normally cleaning your grill? We recommend a nylon brush and warm soapy water or biodegradable grill cleaner. Seasoning the grates with canola oil will also help to keep food from sticking and prevent rust. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

This grill does the job and does it well. Great for everything from burgers and dogs, steaks and ribs, to roasts and whole chickens. It is small enough to fit nearly anywhere, too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adjustable fire level beats Weber

I have or have had a "Weber"; a gas grill; a Santa Maria style with lowering grate on axle. I now use this product almost exclusively.
Being able to raise or lower fuel ( charcoal bed) adds the most efficient capability.
The second rack smokes well. I use a combination of briquettes and red oak chunks or other smoke alternatives.
I live on the coast, and have to watch rust, but good seasoning helps. Product quality is ok, given the price. Webers are better quality, but I'll give that up for fuel savings and adjustability. Our weather here is so mild we grill all year long.
Assembly could have been better.

Going on Season II with this grill

Ive seen a few reviews conveying rusting grills. Im in the SoCal area, so rust isn't an issue. Ive used Webers before which I think are a little easier to control the temp and flame ups with, especially when Q'ing chicken thighs. I tend to use too much charcoal which is a bad habit, finding the "just right" amount is difficult for me. Error on the side of caution, especially if you are BBQ'ing on a patio. And whatever you do, don't use those pre fueled briquettes, unless you are in the wide open. As for its cooking qualities, they're off the chart. Food cooks very evenly, on all four corners. Like your food extra smoky? Play with the air flow vents. Food always taste amazing. Also one other trick. When loading the coals for lighting, make sure to lower the tray to the bottom to avoid coals slipping underneath. Then raise before lighting. Lastly, I replaced the metal slats with wood for a better looking Q.
I would recommend this to a friend!
