I have owned a number of grills over the years (50+) and this one ranks #1 in my book. Only a couple of previous grills were close to this grill in quality cooking ability. If you buy one - enjoy!!

Excellent grill, especially for the money.
The cast iron grill does best if you season it well and don't clean off all the "stuff." Mine is 4 years old, garage kept, and I'm going to have to replace the charcoal tray this fall. IMO, that's reasonable. I did have to replace the wheels with "non factory" ones. No other problems at all.
I installed 2 extra thermometers at grill level for smoking and a better read on what's happening. Also added the smoker, plus a paper towel rack and 3 hooks to the shelves.
Assembly was "medium" difficult.
Cooks great. Versatile, simple. The smoker works really well, somehow maintains a perfect temp. My only issue is the size. I looked at the next larger one, but not sure it's as good a grill, based on the reviews.
Cooks very well good features (adjustable cooking surface) but after the first use and every use after that the grates totally rust, must be sanded and re oiled. This is the 2nd year and the grates are completly rusted beyond repair. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Up until a couple of months ago I was a gas griller. I tried all types of seasoning recipes to try and enhance the taste of the food that I was grilling, but it would always fall way short of my expectations, the food tasted bland. Then I decided to try charcoal . Once that first steak was cooked on charcoal, I haven't looked back. The Char-Broil unit is now my favorite piece of kitchen equipment. Ribs, Chicken, beef you name it ,taste the way it should with charcoal. There is nothing like going out at least 3-4 times a week and firing up my Char-Broil grill and experiencing the culinary delights that are produced from it.
