We have only had a couple of weeks and only used it twice but it appears to work great. I wish it came with a tamper, but otherwise the smoothie button appears to pulse it precisely and as a result the blender keeps the contents making contact with the blades. Marketing should wait 6-8 weeks before sending requests for reviews hence the lack of experience.

I recently purchased a Cuisinart Hurricane™ Pro 3.5 Peak HP Blender for my wife after she burned up another, cheaper brand blender trying to make Hummus. The Cuisinart Hurricane didn't bog down at all and did the job for her. We only wish the bottom part of the container was removable for faster cleaning. It's a very powerful unit and reasonably priced. I recommend it.

This blender has become my most used kitchen appliance. Grinds ice to a perfectly smooth finish in 30 seconds, makes the best smoothies and low-cal milkshakes. It has the power to make you own flour and it without question, the best blender I have ever owned!

This blender is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased it specifically to make smoothies with vegetables and fruit, especially frozen fruit. Everything I have thrown in this blender has been fully "smoothied"! Never any lumps left. There are many features on this blender, but I have really only used the smoothie fruit 45-second mode and it works fantastic! So glad I purchased this blender. In addition, I chose this particular blender as it was a great price that was affordable, as opposed to other name brands that cost so much more. I have had a few other Cuisinart products and liked them and that is why I chose this blender in hopes that it was great- and it was!
