We bought Cuisinart Blender August, 2017 because we need one with higher HP to make vegetable fruit smooth. This one is super good. It blend everything including seeds, nuts, etc. We just pour all the vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds together to the machine and add 2 cups water. Push the button to make our breakfast. It is so simple and easy. Plus its easy to clean also. We just love it.

I don't understand the white version being $80 cheaper than the other, but it seems a deal to me and the white is fine. Having an old blender, this is a serious upgrade and we have been happy with it - using it daily to make smoothies - both fruit and vegetable.

Bought this blender so I could make healthy smoothies. It does a great job with the designated smoothie button. You can modify the blending time on any of the presets. Have not tried other uses as yet, but I anticipate that it will do well. I like how sturdy and heavy the base is. It is also very easy to clean. I am very happy with this product.
