The worse printer ever

I have owned many printer of various makes and models and this is by far the worse I have ever owned. The menu and set up function does not allow you to set up this priinter on a Wireless LAN wirh an alphanumeric WPS password.
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My sister and I bought this printer to share at home for wireless printing. It was so easy to set up on both our laptops and worked so well that we bought another to give our parents for Christmas. Setup was just as easy on their desktops, even though they're a little older. We've also been impressed at how long the initial print cartridges have lasted; even with some high-volume printing right out of the box, we're still using the original cartridges two months later. Great product, especially for the price!
Pros: Easy Setup, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint

Worst Printer Ever

I've had this printer over a year and I have never once been able to wirelessly print with it... which is the ONLY reason I bought the thing in the first place. We have a small house with no good space for a printer other than on a top of a chest of drawers. So instead of being able to sit at a desk to print, I have to drag a chair over, plug the computer in, and wait for it to print. Not only that, but the ONLY other function I need... scanning multiple documents DOES NOT WORK. So here I am, for I don't know what time... re-downloading drivers in hopes that maybe, JUST MAYBE after all this, it will do half of what I need it to do... which is only about 25% of what the thing is suppose to be able to do in the first place. Run away, run far away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THE CANNON PERINTER (PIXMA MX432) IS AN EXCELENT ADDIDTION TO OUR HOME OFFICE NEEDS, WE ARE ABLE TO SEND PRINTOUTS TO THE cANNON PRINTER FROM EITHER COMPUTERS IN OUR HOUSEHOLD DUE TO THE CANNON PRINTER'S WIRELESS CAPABLITIES. WE RATE OUR PRINTER AS EXCELENT!

Light use and the printer failed completely.

I don't print much, the occasional coupon, or directions, etc. I have a separate (Canon) dedicated printer for photographs.
I was not even able to get through the provided ink cartridge before complete printer failure. The paper feeds, the printer head moves back and forth, but not a molecule of ink makes it to the page.
• Test page: Blank.
• Nozzle check: Blank.
• Cleaning: nothing.
• Deep cleaning: Error 5200 (requires power down).
• Align print head: Blank.

I'm still on my first ream of paper and this nice shiny 'All in one' is going to be land filler materiel.
Sure the fax and scanner work, but I'm not buying another separate printer.

Like many I've going through my share of printers, I never had one fail this quickly with so little use. I wish I could get a page count to post it here to indicate how little use this printer had, but this printer doesn't seem to have that feature.
Of course since I don't print a lot I'm outside of my warranty, so it's e-waste now.

Tuff unit

Bought it end of 2012 and it has had a bad life from heavy use to sitting in storage unit, damp RV compartment and now on my boat. It fires right up and starts working like the day I got it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have recently switched to wireless in the house for esthetic reasons. This printer should have no problem dealing with this and yet I have had to manually imput through the device settings the password for the wireless on a daily basis. Not only that , but, the printer has to go through the complete set-up routine to find the signal.DAILY! OMG have you any idea how frustrating that is???
Definitely will never buy another Canon product!
