Quality and Functionality

In late April 2012, I bought my family's first Canon printer, the PIXMA MG 3120. I was impressed with its quality, functionality and reliability, I decided to upgrade to the Canon MX 432. this printer too meet and exceeded my expectations. When I brought the printer home, I asked my twelve-year-old son to assemble the printer while I was running some errands.
When I got home, he moved the Canon MG 3120 and set it up on his computer and setup the printer's Wi-Fi to ube used with a laptop both my wife and he used, and he assembled and configured the MX 432 on the computer I use. After setting up the printers, he ran tests to be sure both printers worked, which both did. My son's ability to setup the Canon MX 432 illustrated how easy it is to setup the printer to get it ready to use.
Many of the negative comments I read regarding performance issues of Canon printers is based on inadequate thought and unrealistic expectations of the tasks the individuals had for these printers. The newer Canon printers do a better job printing documents or photographs than printers manufactured a few years ago. A few Canon users complained that their printers were too noisy. My experience with the Canon printers has been that they are quieter than most of the printers I used in the past. However, if the sound of the printer is annoying, Canon provides a setting on this, and other of its printers, to reduce noise levels.
Another common complaint by some users of Canon printer is that they are unable to print many images or photographs. Recently, I used three color cartages and printed about three hundred 4" x 6" and a few 8.5" x 11" prints. Normally, I would not do this, but I created a special collection of images and photographs to show the quality and versatility the Canon printer to print high quality images and photographs. A person can set the printer to fast print documents, images and photographs. However, if you use the fast print function, the quality of the print is not going to be crisp and clear. It is worth keeping in mind, that inkjet printers are notorious for using large quantities of ink to produce images and photographs. Therefore, if a person is going to print large quantities of photographs, skip this printer, and look for a printer that is designed to print images and photographs. If a person is going to use this printer, or any of the other printers not designed to print images and photographs, the quantity of images or photographs are going to be limited and pricy for each cartage used.
The MX 432, as stated above, prints great looking images and photographs; however, its primary use is to print documents, HTML, MHTML and Text pages. This printer is best suited for a small home-office, a small office, a student or a family. Please note that this printer is Wi-Fi compatible.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use, features, easy access to control panel
Cons: if not careful the front tray can be easily broke, i prefer a written manual
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing features for less than $80

Canon quality at a bargan price. The feature set can't be beat for the price and setup is fairly painless. The 2-line LCD display does make setup a little harder than a printer with a larger display, but all in all it went quickly. Apple AirPrint works well and the wireless scanning to computer is very cool. Print output is a little slow but the quality is very high.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed, only has 2-line display

Drinks ink like water

Used this machine for two weeks in a small construction office that doesn't do much printing. The black ink is already gone, and the color (which we've hardly used at all) is almost all gone. Never could find a setting for a lighter printout.
Sure would like a printed user's manual.
Pros: reliable, durable, High Quality Output, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, uses way too much ink
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAD NO TROUBLE WITH INSTALLATION, BUT I JUST USED USB CABLE AND FOLLOWED INSTRUCTION. I HAD DIFFICULTY AT FIRST FIGURING OUT THE HOW TO'S.....THE ON LINE MANUEL AND INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT VERY SPECIFIC WITH SCANNING TO COMPUTER AND DIRECT E-MAIL....AFTER CONSIDERABLE TIME OF TRIAL AND ERROR I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH PRODUCT
Pros: Easy Setup, fast print speed, priced right
Cons: a little noisy

I purchased a MX432 printer for our small business 6 weeks ago....I had no problems downloading but it is very difficult to see any printing on the back of the printer...as I was working on some copies the printer stopped and after trying all of your Support info it still will not even start....I purchased this printer because Canon has always been a good product.....this printer has changed my mind...The store where I purchased the printer will not take back...they said I will have to take it to a service center(60 miles away)......not too happy......
Cons: Slow Print Speed, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Purchase

Purchased 2 printers as Christmas gifts for 2 of my children and their spouses. Both were able to set-up the printers. One had a minor problem, but called Cannon support and was able to resolve an issue related to a virus protection software rather quickly. They both have used the printers and are very satisfied -- they especially enjoy the fact that they can print directly from their iPhones and iPads with ease.
Pros: Easy Setup, fast print speed, easy to use

Do not bother to buy this printer.
The high quality Canon printer of olden days is gone and buried.
My latest Pixima didnt even last as long as the starter ink cartridges before it bit the dust.
