We've had a rather chilly spring in San Francisco so I haven't had a chance to use my new Vornado 610DC. I did test it upon arrival and set the dial to the mid-way point. The airflow was quite strong and noticeable and best, it ran very quietly. The size is perfect for tucking into a corner or positioning on a table. The body pivots up and down so airflow can be directed higher or lower. I'm hoping that this will be a five-star experience when the apartment gets beyond toasty!

This fan is perfect for our bedroom - it’s nearly silent up to about the half point on the dial. Past that point, it does have the normal wind sound but it’s incredible powerful and quieter than something with similar power.

I placed this fan in my living room which has a vaulted ceiling and no ability to place a ceiling fan. In hot weather this room tends to feel stuffy toward the end of the day. Not so with the Vornado! It is quiet, highly effective at moving the air in a manner that impacts the whole room, and it is easy to adjust angle and speed. I love this fan - and I love the energy savings of the DC technology.

I bought a 610 back in 2004. Has been with me through Hawaii and 3 other states. Had this fan for 2.5 years in Iraq. Now in 2021 i think its time for an addition. This fan is awesome. Still blows good. Well worth every penny. I absolutely love my Vornado. If you're on the fence about buying one, buy it. You will not regret buying it.
