The ONLY Fan worth Owning & Owning Multiplies of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado 610DC Energy Smart Circulator is the ONLY fan worth owning and owning mulitplies of. My need to replace ALL my rotating & box fans with this product has become evident. Small yet powerful. Sturdy while portable. Size - prefect use ANYWHERE! Keeping cool while camping. Dries items quickly with the powerful force it produces. The right equipment for creating 'wind blown' hair images. The Vornado 610 relieved my overheated dog in in less than 5 minutes compared to the 30 minutes it took before. This word "fan" does not even begin to describe this product and its ablities across mulitply areas of use. It is a must to own as well as a need to have.

They Call The Wind VORNADO!!

Overall this is an excellent fan with plenty of power. You might be surprised by how much air this fan moves if you only look at it's size but as they say don't be fooled by the size! This Vornado fan is light weight yet durable & seems to have a nice size, quality motor. What is nice about this fan also is that it comes with a Vornado 10 year warranty. I don't believe Vornado would offer a long warranty if they expected the fan to break down & need repair before the 10 years was up! I have only one (1) complaint with this fan & it might be just a problem with my particular unit. The problem is: The Variable Speed Control Knob moves too easily & goes from a slow speed to a very fast speed with just a slight movement of the Speed control knob. I think Vornado could make this speed control knob a little stiffer so it is not so easy to jump from low speed to high. Other than this complaint I feel this fan delivers everything it claims & a bit more. You will not be disappointed with the purchase of this Vornado fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an infant learning center teacher. Our room is closed in and sunlight pours in two large windows all morning. It is always hot in our classroom. Even the babies sweat. I used the Vornado air circulator and the air cooled instantly. The Vornado air circulator was quiet and the babies didn't notice. It was so comfortable and the babies were less fussy and happy. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Several parents have asked about it so they can buy one themselves because they were so impressed.

I have the previous generation of this fan: purchased in 2004. Still have it, use it every summer, works great. This new generation of fan is even better. It is lighter, moves more air, and consumes less electricity.I find that it is quieter than the previous model.

My favorite thing about the Vornado is the air speed is adjustable. I had my other one for about 15 years and wouldn't have any other kind of fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that the fan was adjustable and you can control how much air comes from it. The weight of the fan made it easy for me to move around. The adjustability of the fan made it easy for me to change the position of the fan. Whether I was standing or sitting, I was able to position the fan to keep me cool while at work. This fan was very powerful! The air pressure could be turned up high. It blew cold air with a lot of force and could be felt at a distance.

I already own two older Vornado stand fans and the Vornado heater so I knew that Vornado means quality. Just having had AC recently installed in the house I knew my bedroom was not going to be as cool as I wanted it to be since it's the furthest from the furnace and on the second floor. I wanted something to place in front of the wall register to boost that cool air into the room but not keep me awake at night. When I saw this new DC model and read about the energy savings and infinite adjustability of the fan speed and a ten year warranty and USA made..well, with all that I was sold. The fan is so quiet on lower settings it doesn't even sound like it's on! It does get noisier on the higher settings but I put it on high before bedtime to get the room cooled completely and then turn it down to a quieter level when I do go to bed. It keeps the room cool all night long without me having to turn up the AC to the entire house and that's a huge energy saver. I don't need to position it to blow right on me- I aim it at the ceiling and the room feels cool without feeling a breeze. I love all my Vornados and if I didn't already have my two Vornado stand fans I'd get the new DC model in that style as well. It's also easy to clean, as are all the Vornado fans. I can easily pop the guard off to clean the blades whenever I need to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've heard of Vornado fans being of exceptional quality, and this fan meets that expectation. I had not heard of this model before I received one. This model is designed to save energy and that is something I love about it. This model is by far the best fan I have ever owned. It is lightweight and small, but it can cool down the entire room. I use this fan in my bedroom at night, and I like to use it as white noise. On the highest speed, this fan is LOUD! The noise is perfect for me, since I am a light sleeper and need noise to sleep at night. For others, I can see the noise at the highest setting as being a con. The settings are adjustable, so you really can control the speed of the fan at any level. I would purchase this product, because it is a high quality fan that does not take up much space at all. This little fan can replace your huge bulky fans and cool down the room much better.
