New models...

I was very excited to receive this new model, I have at least 6 different sizes of Vornado fans and do love them all. This one not so much. It is compact, quiet on the lower settings and gets very loud on high. I feel it just it not as powerful as other models, but I really do not like is that it has a cord with a power source that heats up. So no direct plug. I'm scared to leave it on the carpet and feel it I leave it on a table for too many hours it might hurt the finish on the table. Just does not feel safe to me...
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Lightweight
Cons: Lacks Power, Loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback.It is normal for the transformer on the cord to get warm as it changes the 110 volt AC power to 24 volt DC. Well designed product, will watch if electric usage is low. Had a little problem with your webpage, got double billed. But that is on the business side.

Very nice air circulator that can be used in any room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 air circulators in my home right now, the Varnado and another one. After using the Varnado for several days now, I would prefer the Varnado. I do like the Varnado because of the adjustable knob. I like that I can turn it on low or medium low and get the same cooling effect as on high without the noise. This is a very quiet unit and I like that. I have it in my living room and I do not want it so loud that I can't hear the tv, which makes it great, but yet I want it to cool me down. This air circulator is very sturdy. Although I had never heard of this product before, I am glad I tried it for the first time. I would definitely buy another one of these if this one ever breaks. If you are looking for an air circulator to cool you down, this would be the one I would suggest you buy. You won't be disappointed.

Cons: Kind of bulky

Simply the best for the money!

We purchased two 610DC energy efficient Vornado's and I have to say they were a little on the expensive side. Once we got them in there places inside our condo we found them to be worth the money and a great investment. They are not expensive to run all day and are quiet on low and when turned up full they can get air moving. Overall we would purchase another one when needed and lets not forget the lifetime warranty!
Pros: Compact, Good Power Output, Lightweight

Use this fan to move air to the upstairs of our home. Works great, costs less to run, variable speed, and great warranty. Beyond our expectations.

Turn knob

Purchased several months ago in anticipation of warm days. Began use today. But speed knob is on "floor" so constantly bending to change speed. And parts of fan obstruct speed knob, which should be on top of fan to easily move as well as to read.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing quality

I waited 27 years to buy one. I have other Vornado fans but never jumped into the high end luxury fans until now. I even bought the USA made one because I hoped it was better than my 633.
This 610dc is smooth, quiet at low speeds, loud at higher speeds (louder than the cheaper 633). It moves air incredibly well.
The energy smart tag is gaudy. I thought it was only a label for displaying at a store but it’s permanent. Really runes the clean look. The plastic base is thin and flexible and wasn’t trimmed or molded well. The two halves don’t align clean.
The fan stops if I move it because the power cord pops out 1/32”.
