Bought this for my 16 y.o. son's bedroom and it has done a fabulas job of keeping his room very comfortable. He runs it at the lowest speed and the air movement within his room (about 12 x 12) is truely remarkable. Thank you Vornado!

Vornado has been making outstanding fans for some time. But the "Energy Smart" line is a true advance. The fans are remarkably quiet; the speed control is continuous, not just "H, M. L", and at least in our experience they are very durable. Thank you, Vornado.

Conserving energy is important but so is comfort. I have used the smaller 533DC for a couple of years and appreciate the variable speed and air flow. This 610DC is for my large bedroom which gets late afternoon sun. This fan with its amazing air movement makes all of the room comfortable without having to turn the entire house air conditioning to a lower temperature. On the lower speed settings it is so quiet I had to feel the air to know if it was turned on. I placed this fan on the floor and aimed it slightly upward and am pleased with the comfort it created.

We're very happy with the 610DC circulator. It does just what we wanted it to and it's quiet. We wanted something that would cool the air in volume so we can rely less on the air conditioners. The only thing I'd change if it were possible would be to enable it to tilt downward. It moves and cools air very well.

This is an upgrade from my last Vornado fan. I'm hoping that it truly is energy smart- I haven't been able to quite judge whether my energy bill has gone done. But, it is stronger and more effective than the previous fan, and I like the dial feature for power vs. just having a choice of 3 speeds. It does get a little loud as you turn it up, but most fans do. Happy with this! I imagine that it will last for year, just like all the Vornados I have had.

I was without a rooftop evaporative cooler for Jun/Jul in Tucson Arizona. While I waited for a replacement, I bought a portable evaporative cooler and between the two of them I made it through! The Vornado really moves the air around do to its design... none of my other fans were capable of even matching up to it!
