Needed another bedroom air circulator. I own same model but a few years older with the 3 power options and have always been happy with performance. The newer version allows for more precise & variable speed, is energy efficient, AND made in USA so ticks all the boxes. Two friends have already purchased same model. Excellent product.

Great fan, but knob falls off.

I've had this fan for 5 summers now. I love it, but the knob recently fell off and the metal part holding it up sunk in. It took some time to figure out how to get it back on, but it is possible.

I was looking for a fan that was quiet, powerful, and energy efficient for a reasonable price. Three out of four isn’t bad. The fan is definitely smaller than one would expect. Even with knowing the measurements ahead of time, I was a bit surprised by how small this is. For the size, it does a great job of moving the air, but you feel it only if you’re in the direct path, not, as the advertising suggests, anywhere in the room. If it weren’t for the ten-year warranty—most Vornado fans have a five-year warranty, and they used to have lifetime warranties—I would never have spent so much on a small plastic fan, even with the Vornado name behind it. It’s rather overpriced. Would I buy it again? Maybe. Ask me in ten years.

We are pleased with our new Vornado fan. It appears to be well-designed and well-built. It is so much better than the noisy fan we had before; there is really no comparison. Pricey but worth it I think.
