My new serger

What I liked best about this product was the DVD. I would like more training videos. Found it hard to change pressure feet. The spring is so stiff I have difficulty exchanging feet. The lower looper is not easy to thread, can not see left end of it and the thread wants to fall behind the looper.

I have a couple hours experience with sewing and it was with this serger. I read the reviews about how hard it is to thread and i found it easy if you pay attention to the instructions and think. once i got it threaded it seems to work like a charm. Its going to make my intended projects a breeze

I really haven't used it much, was told I got a free class on how to use but when I asked the lady just said come by on a Sunday and I can show you a few thing. There was no class, she could show me while she work the sewing machine area. Figured I could go on online and do that! Was disappointed there wasn't a class.
Pros: It's ok
Cons: Would of liked some instructions for teacher!

Good Price but Difficult to Thread & Set

Price/value is okay, but this machine is VERY difficult to thread and get the stitch differential/tension set. I CANNOT (after MANY tries) get the 4-thread stitch to work! Will try customer support but not optimistic after reading other reviews about non-response.

I have spent the better part of 3 days trying to get the machine ready to go for my first stitch. Finally got it this morning. I am not a novice seamstress but this was frustrating. My true observation is the instructions are the worst I think I have ever come across and I mean ever. My frustration now is I need to change the needle position and the instructions give you no idea how to do this. Cute little half moons, but no idea how to make that happen.
