It is very difficult to thread if you are left handed..I returned it to the store within 10 days. I spent too much time threading it even with the help of a sewing teacher. She was able to do it because she is right handed but for me it's too difficult.☹️
Pros: Not easy to thread
Cons: Difficult To Use

The Overall serger is great, The Accesories compartment is very hard to open and sometimes I even have to hit it just to open. I enjoy serging with it, every once in a while I see threads that are loose and its the only thing that bothers me.

I really have a problem with the light on the unit -- it really is no different than having no light.
Pros: Can Withstand Use, Easy To Use
Cons: My biggest complaint is the lighting -- very dim

I was excited about getting a serger. I have used Singer machines for 50+ years and thought the Serger would be in line with the sewing machines as far as quality. It has been a total waste of money. One has to be a contortionist to be able to thread the serger. I wish I had gone with another brand.

I was a little intimidated after hearing so many comments about the difficulty in threading a serger, but this machine makes it very easy to understand. It's even colour coded! I had never used a serger before but I was able to test it out right out of the box, and then finished all of the seams in a skirt I was making. It even sounds sexy! I haven't tried any of the other features yet, but I had no idea this machine could do so many things.Thank you Singer for another great product.

This is my first home serger. I used to run a serger years ago in a garment factory. I find this machine easy to use and have had no trouble threading. I made a nice flat seam and I was pleased with the finish.
