have two of these in my two bedrooms they are great they both ran most of the summer had no problem with them. Would buy another with no problem. Great product and great price.

Affordable with nice features

This window air conditioner unit cools my bedroom very well. I also like how it can be used as a fan with 3 different speeds for the spring and fall months. It was very affordable and has been great for my needs.

Great little window A/C

This window A/C is an excellent unit for bedrooms or any other room up to 350 square feet. I installed it in a 175 SF bedroom, which it keeps very comfortable during the warm weather season in north central Texas, from April through October. The noise it makes inside is not a problem, and is not loud enough to bother me while sleeping or watching TV. The unit performs well, the only thing I can complain about is the filler panels that come with it, which I didn't need, since I installed it in a horizontal sliding window, and had to build a custom frame to hold it, since the unit is designed to be installed in a vertical window.If I were installing it in a vertical window, I would have discarded the provided filler panels, and constructed my own. I think they would have worked in a vertical window, but the flimsy plastic would have compromised the security of the window. The A/C unit itself though is an excellent value for the price, and installation is typical of any A/C like this. Would definitely recommend it.

Cools ok but noisy

I am a little disappointed that after reading the ad descriptiion on these units being quiet and then receiving them I found them to be quite noisy. Does not run quiet at all.
Also after installing it in the window with the guide panels it came with , when it rained it leaked around the sides of the unit and it was installed properly .
I purchased two units, the 8,000 BTU and the 6,000 BTU, the smaller one is the most noisy.

Unusual use!

I have a pair of these units that run from a solar array. The pair was used as one could have caused starting problems and being a pair the cold air got spread out. They have done exactly what was expected of them running during high light hours on solar power and shifted to grid power in low light.
They run reasonable quiet and use minimal power for the job they do. Frankly we expected some problems doing this, we've had none, they just work and work extremely well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to put in my bedroom to supplement central ac that hasn’t been working well in the heat of summer. wish I would have done it sooner! It can rattle, so have to make sure it is positioned properly so it doesn’t.

Great Air Conditioner

I bought this air conditioner about 8 years ago. I’ve used it year round, yes I live in Boston but my hot flashes are so bad so it was on more than the heat in the winters, and other than the guide panels drying out and ripping apart this unit still works like it’s brand new. I’m giving it to my daughter for my grandson’s room and buying another Lg Air Conditioner.
I would recommend this to a friend!
