perfect choice

I have been very happy with this model. I like the permanent filter. I only have to vacuum it off. I like having the remote control but I do wish the buttons would light up when touched so you can find the right button in the dark. It keeps the room cool as expected and it is not very noisy, even when the compressor cuts in.

This product cools my 12x11 room fast. It has a timer, three speed fan and I love the energy saver. The remote is the icing on the cake.

My room is finally cool

I have lived in my house for 10 years and my bedroom never got cool in the summer. Finally with 107 temp, I decided to remedy this. I shopped around for a couple of days and kept coming back to this one and I am glad I did. My room is 20 x 20 and this little baby keeps it so cool that I actually have to turn the temp up and believe me that is a first. For one room cooling this baby is easy to install, quite and doesn't strain your pocketbook. I am buying another for my other bedroom.

I bought two, and placed them in windows of the living room and bedroom. They make most of my place cold. Excellent units for the price!

I have a very small office.Because of the existing opening there are very few units for me to choose from. I found that not only does this unit fit but it does it job very well. I would recommend this unit to anyone. The Energy Saver is a great addition at this price.

Great basic unit

Bought this unit for a small/medium NYC bedroom. There are some great features that save money but could definitely be improved. Air speed can be adjusted but the vent cannot be adjusted up and down directionally. I knew that when I bought the machine, but it's actually quite annoying.
Otherwise, its an affordable unit that is easy to install and use. The remote is useful, and I am not bothered by the beeping noise it makes.

This is an excellent window AC for the cost. During the past summer and all the 95 degree days we had this unit kept our bedroom cool and we slept like babies! I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants to cool down one room.
