Not worth the money

This tv looks beautiful and has several features. My problem is that the trumotion is a joke. You need to turn it off in order for the tv not to blur. This is really disappointing considering that this tv is considered LG's 3rd best tv. I have tried everything and even returned one only to find out that it is the tv itself.
Also, very dissappointed in the marketing of 240hz. This tv is not 240hz, which is one of the main selling features.
I would strongly urge consumers to look at other option before buying this product. Their are many tv's that would outshine this one.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outstanding Smart 3D TV

Simply one of the best. Great picture with easy calibration with Picture Wizard, lots of internet apps, easily accessable with the magic wand remote.
The passive 3D glasses make it simple to view 3D, light and no batteries to worry about. 2D to 3D upscaling is pretty sweet as well.

Great TV except Tru Motion Feature

I purchased this TV because I was looking for a 3D TV that would be simple enough to use. LG offers the best products with passive 3D so you don't need those expensive bulky glasses. Picture quality and color are great but it does require some individual adjustments to get it looking just right. The TV audio out does not output in Dolby Digital if that is important to you, It was to me. My solution to this was to HDMI to the TV and digital audio out from my satelite box directly to my audio receiver. If your receiver does not have 3D pass thru, you'll need to input directly to the TV to receive 3D. My biggest complaint is with the Tru Motion feature. When engaged, there is judder and picture distortion during faster scene movement. I'm hoping LG provides an update fix for this. You're better off turning this feature off unless you can live with it. If not for this, I would have given 5 stars, instead of 4, actually 4.5. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.

Startlingly clear, true colors, fantastic contrast in a 3D TV. What a fantastic viewing experience right in the comfort of our home! The value and quality of this product is superb. Best TV for our family!

Outstanding 3D picture. Easy setup and easy to understand tools are included. The action style remote is not difficult to use for anyone accustomed to using a game remote.

This 3D TV is AWESOME!

The picture is beautiful, the sound is great, the online features are fun and useful and the 3D is unbelievable. We love this TV. It looks good too with the minimal bezel design. The remote is fun to use also. I bought clip on 3D glasses for those of us with prescription glasses and they work great. Can't say enough good things about this TV. The only negative is that some people may not like the Clear or Clear Plus settings because the increased frame rate takes some getting used too, but that setting is adjustable.

Beautiful TV Set

I have had my new TV for about 2 months now and I like everything about it,except the glare.It is awful.I do get a lot of sunlight but all the sales people said to buy an LED versus an plasma and you won't have the glare.I kinda wish I had bought the plasma,the glare can't be any worse?Does anyone know if I can do anything to reduce the amount of glare that I receive?

Great TV, needs more LG 3D Content

The TV itself is great. Great TV quality and a very fun to use TV remote. The only improvement I would suggest is LG to offer more 3D content to download so I could really get the most out of my TV.
