Excellent picture

Passive 3d looks great. LG magic remote controls all my devices. I recommend disabling the energysave mode, so you can get the full brightness. Very happy with this product.

Great picture for an edge-lit LED LCD

The picture quality is amazing. The 3D feature is a fun toy but the chrome browser is horrible. Sure wish we could load Mozilla Firefox. Amazon Instant Queue is not available, and that is another failing of the wireless package. I would dedicate a thumb drive to this TV if it would increase it's memory. When browsing, it constantly crashes with "out of memory" error messages. Why is it that Flash is not available?
Overall, it's a great TV.

Super resolution, best picture I have ever seen!

This TV has great picture resolution, and the background lighting can be automatic or changeable....great for watching in the daylight!
The 3-D is OK, nowhere as good as the theater TV for regular broadcasting. However, it is great with a Blu-Ray 3-d movie!!
And the Internet feature is good....BUT....anything the Menu features is a subscription item....too much commmercialism built into the menus!!

This TV easily connects wirelessly to the internet, has a great picture, a remote that is incredibly easy to use, and passive 3D glasses that do not entail the hassle of putting a battery in.
That remote - more like a wand - has a scroll wheel and a couple of buttons and rests in your hand like it was designed for the human hand. Compare it with the typical thousand button remotes and you will appreciate it very quickly.
A couple of minor items. Angle of view could be a little better but the picture quality more than makes up for it. You will absolutely want to upgrade from SD to HD to appreciate the 1920 X 1080 resolution. And it has optical audio out -- if you like using headphones you will need an optical cable plus a DAC (Digital Audio Converter).
Overall, highly recommended.

Love my 55" smart tv, internet at the push of a button as well as all kind of neat things to try. Price wise for a 3d tv you cant beat it. now im hoping the make a smart keyboard to go with it.
