This product is amazing.

After an intensive search on the Internet, magazines and travel to different stores chose the LG557600 for its elegance, Wifi internet connection. The competition was strong and several times I thought of buying other brands but ultimately chose LG and do not regret is incredible.The setup and configuration, with clear instructions, are straight up and not complicated at all. The picture is bright, crisp and beautiful, this set has a good selection of picture presets that should satisfy most viewers and a completely customizable setting option if a standard preset is not to your liking. The sound also is good, better than my old lcd tv from another Korean company.The smart remote is okay. I would like to see a full qwerty remote option available for purchase.I have had this TV for one month and I absolutely love it.

A Quality Product

This is our first HD television and we love it. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews on the web. We spent time at more than one store evaluating quite a few HDTV’s and deciding what looked best to us. Set up was easy and took only a few minutes. We used HDMI cables to Connect to our new HD cable box and new blu-ray disk player. We connected our old VCR/CD player with RCA cables and wirelessly to our home computer network. It only took a few minutes to upgrade the system firmware via the internet and reboot the system. The “Magic Remote” took a little getting used to but it wasn’t long before we used the remote to label the inputs with the names of the appropriate devices and use the virtual keyboard to access the web. We’re considering installing a sound system, but can’t really fault the built in speakers while we shop. We’ve tried a few of the free APPs and are still getting acquainted with the multimedia device that has replaced our old CRT Television. LG provides many screens and opportunities to fine tune the picture and sound, but we only spent a few minutes picking our preferences and the rest of the time enjoying the in-home theater experience. I can’t find anything lacking and can’t imagine being more pleased with any other HDTV on the market. I’ll update this review as we learn more about this HDTV.

Excellent 3D TV!

Looked around quite a bit for a 3D TV with passive glasses. Went to a lot of stores, online, and came to the conclusion that this was the best. It has 240Hz refresh rate which gives such a life-like picture, no blurring and no flicker. It comes with the 6 3D glasses, which is great. The salesperson told me when I was deciding between passive and active glasses, that he had active but because of the cost of the glasses, only 2 people at a time could watch a movie at home. He would buy passive for his next TV. The features are great and the magic remote is so easy to use, even my wife figured it out on her first try!

I just liked this product initially, but loved it when I was able to use the smart share feature. We use to just connect the computer to our old tv with a cable and this tv just lets me share all my movies from the computer i have in one of the rooms and the kids love it. Looking at our pictures on a big screen is a plus.

Being an avid viewer of Movies and Shows I have found the features of this TV are unsurpassed. Easy setup, Max control of picture size,color,pixel,sound and every thing else I could want. I really like being on our wireless network to get on the web, check email and IMDB. The 3D is FABULOUS! I am the new elect movie theater for all of our friends. Thank You for this product.

I have been using this TV for about a month now, and I am absolutely in love with this TV. The 3D is incredible... My family really enjoys the smart remote feature, and has been using Netflix like crazy.

We have owned this TV for close to a month, and can only say great things about the TV. The 3D quality is great, and the HD picture is unreal. My family loves the smart remote, and has been using Netflix like crazy.

Love this TV so far. Got it after Thanksgiving, and didn't really think I wanted 3D, but thought my kids would like it. I was wrong, the 3D is amazing, and very cool to boot. Comes with 6 pairs of 3D glasses, so it's a very good deal also. Jump in with this TV, you won't regret it.
