Incredible TV

This television has it all. Great picture quality, awesome, SMART access, built in wifi sets up in a breeze. This is the best television I have ever purchased.

Now 3D entertainment at home

I was skeptical at first on buying 3D TV. I was pleasantly surprised on the clarity of the picture with passive 3D. It is almost like watching a movie in the theaters. The 2D to 3D feature does not work that well and is too much to expect. I am using a LG 3D home theater system with this TV and have found excellent results. The edge lit LED might appear to illuminate unevenly when the TV is turned on, however when the picture is displayed, it is not noticeable at all. Overall a very crisp clear display. It was a pleasure to watch the Olympics in 3D this time.

In a nut shell, the LG557600, the best purchase that I have made in a long while.
Coming from a 52" DLP with 720 tech., a world of difference. Smart tech with awsome color. You can't go wrong. I would recommend a sound bar to recieve deep rich sound while watching movies.

Great all around TV

There are several things I love about this TV. First, the 3D is excellent and truly feels like you are watching a 3D movie in the movie theater so kudos on that. I also have a portable drive that I store lots of media on and many files are over 6-8 GB so I can't store them on a FAT32 formatted drive. This system recognizes my NTFS fomatted drive and that is awesome. I can just plug my external drive in and watch all the media I have on that drive. The picture quality is also exceptional and the setup wizard was very intuitive for setting up the proper settings based on the lighting of my room. The bezel is so slim around the screen so it looks pretty sharp to boot. I did have to turn off the TrueMotion settings when watching movies so I wouldn't get any "glitchiness", but once that was off everything viewed fine. The wand controller doesn't lay flat and I would like the pointer/cursor to disappear quicker, but that is really the only thing I don't like about the TV. So with everything else that is really nit picking it.

Great value and picture

I am really enjoying the great picture and features. The picture quality is a real upgrade from my old rear projection lcd. The magic remote works fine and make navigation easy. The smart functions are ok... nothing really spectacular. I'd recommmend this to anyone.
