Great TV, Great Picture

This Television is amazing when it comes to features and the quality of the television screen. I only have 2 notes to make about the television and that would be I have heard the LED lights tend to break very easily so I would definitely get the extended warranty. The other thing is the 240 hz is not 240 when it comes to gaming. My ps3 develops a good sense of lag when it comes to online shooting games and racing games; it's greatly disappointing on that which why i gave a 3 star rating on the value. Although, it is an outstanding television for movies and 3D movies, and the features it possesses.

Seriouly, this tv has been worth the wait.
I got the 47" for my room and it is perfect!
This TV is fun! It has a ton of things, that you can do with the apps and other features, that I have yet to get to.

Connecting to the internet w/ WI-FI was very easy!
The TV found the signal and in less than 10 minutes,

It would be nice, if you could add a USB, with a keyboard connection.
So that you could type in your information into the screen, instead of the remote which takes a little patience.
Manual controls on both sides of the TV would be helpful.

This is a great TV

This tv is great. Picture quality is really good. Loved the 3D feature. Also, because it is a smart TV, I can control it with my iphone. Just downloaded the app. Sound quality is good as well, although to get true theatrical sound, would need an external sound system. I paired mine with a soundbar and it sounds great. Movies really come alive. Picture is crystal clear and smooth. Only issue is that sometime I have to turn the tv off if I'm exiting netflix to go back to regular tv. Overall a great investment.

I got this product primarily for football, and was expecting crystal clarity with the 240hz resolution. To date (I bought it in July) I've never seen 240hz actually working. I'm told by the employees at the store I bought it at that this is only active during Blu-Ray playback, and as I'm not an avid movie watcher, I could probably do without it.
The standard out-of-the-box display settings are, frankly, disappointing, but do not fret, because LG has their lovely "Expert" set up, and a set up wizard to help you get exactly what you want. I've been underwhelmed with the de-blur and de-judder settings, and have actually found better performance on broadcast sports by simply turning them off.
I didn't buy this TV with the intent of ever really using the 3D, but after viewing the Olympics in 3D I have become a fan of the 3D sports channel on my satellite provider. I also enjoy it for 3D in video games.
Overall I love this television. The wireless, smart apps, and variety of inputs are great, I just feel like I paid a little too much for the brand name.

Stylish, excellent pictures

This is probably the best LED, 3D smart TV anyone can buy in the price range.
Awesome design with really really thin bezels(somewhat iPhone 4 design like with metal trim). The quality of the picture is superb! Yes, awesome pictures!
But the drawbacks are huge bleeding on about 1/8th of the whole screen which only bothers me when the pictures are mostly black. It makes weird static noise whenever I switch channel and it double flickers. And like others, not big fan of the magic remote. I'd rather have more buttons on the remote to change TV inputs then going to menu, pointing out the options. So I rarely use the remote. I just use the remote that came with the Directv. The screen reflection really bothered me at first so I've turn the TV away from my windows and I don't see the reflections anymore. Without the dual-core option, the software is pretty slow, but that's what I paid for.
I pointed out a lot of negative points, but the important fact is the TV is still awesome, and yes, I will buy this again if I had a choice to repurchase.

I almost took this set back within the 30 day return policy because the picture looked out of color, fuzzy not crisp like the demo picture showed. The picture is still not like I would like it but to try to figure all the adjustments to get it there is an on going thing for me. The remote is always falling off because of the three way design.
To sum it up, I don't think I would buy this set again knowing what I know now.

Overall the best tv I've ever owned!!

This is my first smart tv so I had to get used to having a computer type screen on my tv (which is true only when you use the tv remote) but the sales man explained it VERY well so I felt like I kinda knew what I was doing :) The reason I rated the features with 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am not in love with the remote simply because you have to sit directly in front of the tv to get it to work properly, almost like it needs to be calibrated better or something, but I use my cable remote more than the tv remote so it's all good :) The picture is AMAZING and my daughter LOVES the 3D feature. Set up was so simple and I know from past LG products (my washer,dryer and cell phone are also LG) that their customer service is outstanding!! In my opinion, LG is the best name brand out there!

Did a lot of research online and visited many stores to compare this TV to others and the LG had an outstanding picture, features, price, and value.
Can't go wrong with this TV, regular and 3D picture is just amazing.
