My LG Cinema 3D LED TV is Awesome!

"AWESOME" !!! Outperforms my previous 2 flatscreens in features and picture quality (knocks them out of the park). The 3D imagery with the Passive Glasses (which are super comfortable to use) is as good as any I've seen in theaters. My family and I love our LG Cinema 3D LED TV and highly recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing a 3D TV.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, 2d to 3d feature

Outstanding picture & Great 3D
on August 7, 2012

My only criteria for purchasing a new TV, was picture quality and the number of HDMI inputs. After spending a few weeks visiting stores, reading on line reviews, I whittled the choices down to just 3 sets (LG and 2 other comparable competitors TV's). I choose LG's 47LM7600 as this TV displayed the best picture consistently overall, no matter the source. Out of the box, the picture settings are in sunburn mode, and do not show what the TV is capable of. While LG provides an easy to use picture wizard to loosely calibrate the set, I instead opted to research on the internet other users settings for this LG TV. Within a few moments, all 4 HDMI inputs and the 1 composite input (Sony Beta VCR) that I was using, were set up, and I sat back to enjoy the TV. Wow the picture did not disappoint - Sharp clear detail for both Standard Definition & High Definition source material - with color purity and accuracy near excellent. My only negative observation would be slight flashlighting at the top and bottom of the screen about an inch from the corner. Yet, unlike the other brands I compared this LG to, you can only barely see it when the screen is pure black. The TV's speaker sound quality is not bad. However I turned off the TV speakers, and ran the optical out from the back of the set to my surround receiver. Connecting internet is extremely easy. Even though this TV has built in wifi, I choose to connect wired since I had the Ethernet connection already behind the set. I tried out the Netfilx & Vudu aps, and even browsed the internet from the TV's own browser. I was never a fan of 3D and my choice in purchasing this set wasn't based on this feature. Yet, after watching Football on ESPN 3D, and after viewing a few 3D bluray movies, I have to admit the 3D looked great - rather impressive. This TV yet may change my mind on 3D. The passive 3D glasses are not weighty nor made my eyes feel tired. My only negative complaint is the wired dongle I had to use in order to connect my Beta vcr to the RCA composite inputs on the back. I fear that at some time it would pull out - which it did. So when I lost connection to the vcr, I had to remove the set from the wall to reattach the wired dongle which pulled out just enough to break the connection between the TV and vcr. My solution was to zip tie the dongle to the back of the set - not a practical one for a set of this quality. Yet even that minor hiccup does not detract from the overall performance & quality this TV delivers.

US Model LM7600 Stopped Working-No Int'l Warranty
on December 2, 2013

from India
I bought this product while I was in US and moved to India few months back for my work . It was working fine for the first couple of months then all of a sudden stopped working (doesn't power on). I've approached the local LG support and they say the main board faulty and this product is not covered for warranty outside US. I have called the US customer support and they say the same. So better avoid LG TVs if you're planning to take them outside US. It may work for a while but they are not designed for international use.

Magic controller

I like the 47LM7600 very much, the 2D to 3D work great the adjustments for the 2D/3D improve the watching. The 3D is very enjoyable. All channels are clear and fine details. Brightnes/Contrast is great.
Now.. to the Magic controller, it works fine easy to use BUT the shape of it is terrible, it is always over on it's side when it is set down, each time it is picked up, a wrong button is pressed, and it is not designed in a logical manner, the roller/enter button is too far from the hand holding position, it takes 2 hands to make some adjustments.
Pros: Features/Settings, magic controller

This my first big screen TV , I am very glad that I picked this one. I have been able to use all of the features of this incredible TV. Connects to the internet , the browser is a little hard to use , virtual keyboard not my favorite interface . The MAGIC REMOTE is amazing just point and click , It's a mouse in space , wheel and all . I can access videos on the hard drive of my computer , through my wireless network . Plug in a flash drive or portable hard drive , access ! I love this TV .

Product needs to adress motion blur.

Picture quality is awesome until you get to a scene where the movie is panning around. The motion blur is horrible. When you try to adjust motion blur using LG presets picture gets way to dark almost to where you cant see anything in the background. When using manual settings picture quality takes a big hit but motion blur is no longer a factor. Hope LG comes up with a update to help problem. 3D viewing is super no problems great depth.

Love this TV!

I've had this tv for three days now and I'm in love with it. The 3D is amazing and the features are all excellent. Watching YouTube videos has never been better. The only problem I have with it is the picture.
It's so amazing that watching anything in HD looks as if you watching a play. Meaning it looks like you are there in person. It's how a lot of tvs look now days and something that I have to get used to. We shopped around for a great tv and we found one. Thanks LG!

This 3D TV is fantastic

I always thought I would never purchase a 3D TV, but after my last TV decided to quit working, I started my research into a new one. I started with Consumer Reports and started a major comparison review of all TV's. Next I carried all my research to the store and started my physical review of picture quality, price, etc. etc.
I was blown away with the picture quality, including the 3D. Decided on this set and I have not been sorry since it was hooked up. The picture quality and color are just great.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
