Does not work as well as they say

This is a very nice tv. The picture is great. The problems are that the 3D conversion does not work very well. Over all the 3D is not what they say like going to a movie theatre. The audio stream to your Home Theatre does not work well with swiching to netflix or hulu. The worst part is that the magic remote is very un reliable at times and you have to play with it alot or turn the tv on and off to get it to work. Its a great Idea but needs more work. I would rather have a straight remote. I would send the tv back but I bought is at a very resonable price and the picture for the regular tv is great...
Pros: regular picture
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cons :
-->magic remote battery will not lost long more than 20 days
-->lost magic remote connection few time and need to reset
-->app loads little bit slow.

The LG SMART TV

my first time to own an lg tv and i love it. i bought a 47" lg smart tv and i'm very satisfied with it and i love all the features. just last dec.29,2012 i bought again another 55" lg smart tv for my bedroom. comes 2013 i'll replace 2 more of my tv's with these lg smart tv for our living and family rooms.

3D is very good quality, performance is excellent. my kids like this TV alot.

Likin' everything except the remote.

I've owned the TV for about a month. Super easy to set up and connect to the internet and Dish receiver. I've not been impressed with the 3D capabilities but I wasn't expecting to be. (I haven't been impressed with 3D in theaters either.)
My main dissatisfaction has been the remote. While it is a flashy looking item, it lacks a great deal in user "friendlyness". When I use it as a pointer, I find that it is often moving in the wrong direction - particularly when I try to get into the corners of the screen. When I use the buttons, I find them too close with not enough separation between adjacent buttons. I don't know how many times I have tried to push the "right" button and instead pushed the "home" button. One good thing, it was very easy to link to my Dish receiver. I think the function should have taken precedence over the style in the design of the remote and it didn't.

An excellent TV that will last

I did a lot of research before upgrading from an old CRT to an LED TV. The 47LM7600 met all my requirements, which was mainly a great picture and a good size. The Smart and 3D features weren't something I was looking for, but the Smart features work quite well and the 3D capability is fun to play with. I don't love the magic remote. I would buy this TV again.
